<title> CURRENCY&amp;. Cuba has a double economy. The official currencies in Cuba are the Cuban Pesos (CUP) and the Cuban Convertible Pesos (CUC). In theory, it is assumed that tourists can only use convertible pesos, but in practice nothing prevents entering a Cadeca (House of exchange) and exchange Convertible Pesos for Cuban Pesos with an approximate exchange rate of about 25 pesos per convertible peso.</title>
