Bryant.....sight (bare: never really noticed how bare the walls were).....smell (interesting ,as we have been letting our two teenagers try to learn how to cook), sound (everyone in my house listens to slightly different music so lots of different music is always blaring, e.g. rap, r&b, salsa/merengue, classic rock)

Mother nature knows what time it is, and she reminds us every day she's still in charge. She sings in so many voices now able to penetrate the noise. I'd like to enjoy her more still. Each day has a rhythm of coming together and finding our spheres. Food tastes better when none of it is wasted, and the objects in my home look better with everything tidy.

I see the mismatch of a room that has become too many things with spaces carved out for papers and bedclothes and reading and crafts, piled precariously. I hear birds, a beeping truck, a hammer and a lawmower which brings both the normalness of a spring day with the strange reminder of being shut in. I feel the smallness of this room in its heat with small waves of breeze just barely pushing in.
