This semester I realized just how challenging managing my time would be since I am working full time and have little time to myself to study. I also learned how different graduate programs are from undergrad...the expectation to really synthesize information instead of just learn it. At my BSW program my teachers were unavailable and appeared unmotivated but since transferring to Adelphi I’ve had nothing but a great experience! Now that it's almost the end of the semester, I know how to operate the module, I'm still trying to balance and submit my assignments on time and now I know the structure for writing my papers. I felt like the professors have been really great about accommodating for every student’s needs which is awesome. I have been out of school 3 years previously so I didn't know what to expect. I doubted myself which I wish I did not do. I know now that whenever I'm feeling overwhelmed or need extra time for an assignment I can reach out to my professors. I had difficulty with time management as I work in the field as well. I would find myself doing school work at work and work at home. Sometime i would forget to upload an assignment even after completing it at work. I handed in a few assignments late on the count of this and it stressed me out a lot !
