Communication is a big part of interaction between organisms. Many alert their groups of predators which helps the organisms to escape from then. Some animals groom each other. Cooperation is key to social behavior. Animals benefit from each other's actions.

I think social behavior provides benefits for living species. Communication and cooperation can assist organisms in escaping predators. This gives the organisms an advantage to survive and because they survived, they can produce offspring. Overall, I think social behavior allows organisms to have a greater fitness which is a result from the benefits of social behavior.
