Prof. Samuel Massie Jr.

Dr. Samuel P. Massie was one of the best organic chemist and the first African American to teach at the U.S. Naval Academy. He developed medications to fight infections, like gonorrhea. Dr. Massie Jr. died at the age of 85.

The Reason I picked him was because it is cool he teached at a U.S. Naval Academy.

Percy Julian was a pioner in sentizing materils from plants,he sentiz thing like glaucoma drug from beans or even a firefighting foam from soy protein. One of Percy biggest accoplishment was that he made a new sythic cortisone, the hormone that areused to help arthirst patients.

I chose him because at the time there were a another sythic cortisone that cost a lot money at the time.But the one he made he made it only 0.50 cents.Which was more cheap and could help more people who didn't have the moeny for the other one.
