We had been playing well all day and we had finally made it to the championship game. The team we played in that game was supposed or said to be was better than we were. That weekend we had been playing in a tournament with kids 1 or 2 years older than we were and we played a really great game and ended up winning.  


How does this tie into my theme?

And through out the week as we were playing we never played them again until that championship game the following saturday and when preparing for the game we were all very excited to beat a team we had lost to. We ended up winning that game 7-4 in the last inning.

How does this tie into my theme?

After the tournament was over we ended up getting third or fourth we lost in the semifinals. I got a call from my coach and I was named team captain because of how well I had played the past coule weeks.
