Painting, for me, was just another hobby people would do. Painting is something I always pictured kids doing because that all I ever generalized about painting. Painting involves so many hidden ideas and references that could teach countless lessons to people who choose to see the meaning or expression behind paintings. Paintings are a two dimensional visual language that contain the expression of different ideas and strong emotion. I would always look at a religious painting but never really appreciate it as much as I do now. After the module, I am now able to see or decipher the hidden meanings and emotions kept inside these paintings. Such deep emotion and ideas right in front of my face yet I was not able to see it, but now I do. How do they know which colors go with which and how do they know that mixing certain colors will give them the intended result. I want to learn the difference between the type of paint painters use.
