In the first painting we ca see Saint Basile having a vision while in the second we see a happy women in a typical festivity of Seville.

 In contrast, the character in the second painting is very different  to the character of the second painting.

In the first painting we can see the chiaroscuro, a characteristic of the Baroque while in the second one the bright colours typical in the Costumbrism.

The first work belongs to the impressionism, his characteristics are represented in the typical environment of the fair in Seville as scenes of daily life, clear, pure colors and luminosity, being a protagonist the persons and the nature.

The second work belongs to the Baroque tries to transmit a sensation of movement, depth and volume, contrasts of light with chiaroscuro.

The first painting shows many characteristics of the realism. We see a cheerful and friendly reality, it also shows the daily life, the dance.
The second picture is called “The adoration of the shepherds”.

The second painting shows many characteristics of the baroque. It has bright colors and lots of movement, also the contrast of light and darkness. Addresses a religious theme.

The first difference we observe is that in the first photo there isn`t contrast of light and darkness as in the second, there is only luminosity. In addition the second painting deals with a religious theme (typical of the Baroque), while the first deals with a tradition, a thing of daily life.

The second painting shows a lot of movement but in the first movement but not so much, because in the first painting is inclined but in a straight line, while in the second the line goes from top to bottom continuously.

The title is refers to the expression used to rush a glass of wine whose background was decorated with an image of Christ.
The artist represent the mensage by the men that drink because he wants to see the Christ that have the glass in its backgrounds.

-And the other is the Madonna of sorrows from Murillo that was done since 1617 until 1682. Was created in the baroque and measured 166x107cm. This represent the dramatic quality of a virgin. The virgin is sitting on a bench,with a dark background. Can be seen a face with pain,with his eyes looking at the sky and opening the hands with a gesture of request

In the background we can't see anything because it's very dark except of the light ray that illuminates the dove.

The second painting shows, as his name says a “View of Seville” and the entrance of Puerta del Carmen. In the background we can see the city of Seville and the Giralda surrounded by a wall

In contrast the first painting is from the Baroque, has movement (curved lines), contrast between light and dark (chiaroscuro), it's about a religious theme and it's a portrait.
On the other hand the second painting is from the Realism, it has warm colors and it's about a landscape theme.

The characteristic of the first photo are :Tenebrism, chiaroscuro, represent the reality trought the naturalism, depth, movements, with perspective.
And the characteristic of the second photo are: Coarse surface, free brush-stroke,  expressivity, light in the flamenco dancer, disapear the line opposite the color, charasteristic theme "stand in the festival".
