Les parents sont la 1ère ressource à consulter ! Ils connaissent les blocages, les outils, les mots qui sauvent, ceux qui déclenchent une rupture de comportement. La coéducation prend là tout son sens ! Rencontrez-les avec l'AESH et si possible avant la rentrée ! Dans tous les cas, leur place est primordiale. La coopération inter-équipe est indispensable ! Le  lien fondamental !!! (je vais manquer de superlatif mais vous aurez compris le concept : COOPERATION !!!) Au menu, des réunions avec et sans les parents, même rapides, des temps d'échanges formels / informels par mail/téléphone/de visu pour comprendre tel ou tel blocage qui tient parfois à un bruit, un mot, une couleur de cahier, ou de stylo !  L'enfant n'est pas responsable de ses débordements, il les subit, comme vous. Comprendre ses besoins vous permettra d'anticiper ces débordements et même les éviter ! L'élève autiste sera autiste sa vie durant. A vous de voir comment vous pensez traverser cette nouvelle année avec lui ou elle : comme un fardeau ou en équipe avec l'élève, sa famille, les professionnels de soins et ceux de la communauté éducative ou seul ? 
L'élève autiste a autant à apprendre qu'un élève neurotypique. Encore faut-il croire en son éducabilité. l'enseignant aussi apprend au contact d'un élève atypique.
