Right before the heroes attempt to confront him, he begins hinting at a dangerous secret Rigby has been keeping from Mordecai for the past 10 years, urging him to say it before handing Rigby a letter to him, urging him to read it for a while before Mordecai gets irritated and yells at him to read it already, in which Rigby replies and reveals that he didn't want to seperate from Mordecai ever, and 10 years ago he figured out Mordecai got into his dream college before Mordecai himself even found out, and that himself aka Rigby did not. Mordecai was still unbelievably upset at Rigby, telling him that he's not his friend, but a screw up that's done nothing but ruin his life constantly, causing Rigby to go into the ship alone, taking off without everyone, flying through space, trying to go home and wait for time to be erased along with him, while the others take Future Mordecai's spaceship with his permission as he slowly asks Mordecai to not hate Rigby for it, wishing he could've gone out while playing video games with Rigby one last time before dying in Mordecai's arms. Rigby stops by a space gas station to fill up before a nearby explosion, due to a gas malfunction, knocks out Rigby, causing him to wake up to none other then Father Time, assuring him this is not the way and that he and Mordecai are the only ones who can save time and himself along with it. Rigby asks what's the point considering everyone hates him, in which Father Time replies with how he and Mordecai have gone through many tough times and got through them together in the end, growing and learning from it, assuring Rigby the same would happen again, motivating Rigby to snap out of it and go help Mordecai and his friends save Time.]]> 2023-10-04 15:57:00 UTC https://padlet.com/mixone/p9voci3vzghs7xsj/wish/2732347433 mixone https://padlet.com/mixone/p9voci3vzghs7xsj/wish/2732357036 Mordecai and his friends had met other friends of Future Rigby, borrowing their ships and having a space war, Mordecai being able to get inside before being held at gunpoint by an enemy soldier, Rigby crashing in the same room Mordecai was in with his ship, slamming into the enemy and saving Mordecai, the two running into the main control room where Randall was, the two having a final showdown with him, getting beat up by Randal in the process, but barely able to take him down. Their friends walk in, not able to find a way to shut it down before Rigby decides to sacrifice himself for the greater good, grabbing a barrel of unstable toxic waste to throw into the machine to blow it up and himself in the process.
