In addition, trust has to be there to be more vulnerable, its the firm soil of a friendship.

I personally think that trust and honesty builds the foundation of any relationship, one must be able to open up and feel safe with the other in order for a bond to start forming. In a friendship, there can be times when there is a lack of effort from one party, causing the other to feel upset and think that they may not matter as much to the other. Thus I think there should be an equal level of effort and interest from both parties for a healthy friendship to be maintained.

I find it a must that friends stay true among themselves and show their true colours. A lot of the time people act differently around people, eg some of us have multiple friend groups, I think it is important to acknowledge our friends when we see them. to elaborate more, we shouldn't be ashamed to hang out with them etc. now when coming into poly we have our poly friends and also secondary school friends which can be clashing, but I think it's important that the bonds are still there and we don't forget the people who were there for us in the beginning, which is why I find loyalty the most important. 

B) I feel trust in a friendship when I know my friends have my back. For example we may all be in different courses now but we still take the time in our busy schedule to meet up to chit chat. Although we have different groups of friends I think that continuing the bond shows trust within the friend group.
