In doing so, I can provide a Traveller voice/insight which would be useful for service providers and statutory agencies in creating a more inclusive service provision. 
 
What my organisation can offer: Pavee Point Traveller and Roma Centre is a national non-governmental organisation committed to the attainment of human rights for Travellers and Roma. The organisation comprises Travellers, Roma and members of the majority population working in partnership to address the needs of Travellers and Roma, who as minority ethnic groups experience racism, discrimination, exclusion and marginalisation. While Pavee Point is not a service provider per say, we can provide: Training for professionals on the human rights situation for Travellers and Roma, anti-racism/discrimination, good practice considerations for professionals working with Travellers and Roma (tailored for various service providers/stat. agencies). Support access to Traveller & Roma organisation networks throughout the country.

    What: Following our group discussion, myself & Alan Browne had a conversation about helping people avoid this revolving door & how can they can find work e.g. is there a way that private/public organisations could be incentivised to employ prisoners on their release, or a job board for companies offering positions to people? Are there initiatives similar to the one set up by Airfield to assist in a preventative way?
    Why: We were both blown away by the impact of the visit & the energy in the room when we discussed it. We felt like we should try and capture some of that.
    How: Alan suggested a think tank session might be of value to see if we can find some solutions/ put some actions in place to try & relieve some of the issues.  We're using this platform to find people who are interested in joining the discussion in the next couple of weeks to see if we can contribute in finding solutions.  Common Purpose have offered us use of their space in the Guinness Enterprise Centre.  We hope you'll join us!
