Furthermore, if a person has dingee clothing on that may imply that they are not wealthy but in reality they could be.

All people are created equal and should be treated equally is a statement I strongly agree with. First, every single person is different and you cannot judge someone by what they do or do not have because you also do or do not have something. Secondly, everyone has a personality and they are all different which means that everyone reacts to things different ways. Furthermore, you should not judge someone for something they believe in. Lastly, people are human which means we make mistakes and you should not be treated any differently for something you have done because we have all made mistakes. In conclusion, people are all unique and special and should not be treated differently for any reason.

I strongly disagree with the statement that the U.S. justice system is set up in a way in which justice is always served. First of all, a person can only be sentenced to a felony if all of the jury agree to convict the defendant as guilty. There will always be one person who does not agree with the rest of the people. Second, even though it is difficult to be charged, the U.S. prison population still manages to be the world's largest.

Also, showing real courage means to stand up for what you believe in no matter what. The problem with that is people like to know they are secure and safe, even if that means not standing up for what they believe in. Lastly, People would much rather sit back and silently support someone else because they are too scared to risk their neck or their reputation. In conclusion I agree that most people never show real courage, for they are too scared to risk their reputation and deal with the consequences.

I strongly agree with the statement, "Discrimination is inevitable because everyone has their own prejudices." To start, this statement is viable for the fact that opinions are often very strong. Secondly, discrimination has always been a large part of both human history, and human nature. To end, everyone belongs to a certain social group, or has a certain social standing, and those not in those groups may become frightened or offended far more easily than they should. In summery, opinions are strong, discrimination is a part of human nature, and social grouping among humans leads to unnecessary hatred.

First of all, appearance doesn't even reflect on the personality of that person. If someone has piercings and tattoos, that doesn't show anything about the person's feelings what so ever. Also, appearance shouldn't even be factored in when guessing someone's personality. It has nothing to do at all with how the person feels about certain things. All it shows is what that person likes to wear or what they have interests in. Lastly, appearance a lot of times is very misleading.

When a person is 12, they won't value a marriage or their children as much as they will when they're 40. Second of all, a person's values and attitude can develop later in life as well. For instance, a young kid could be energetic and normal, but if they get bullied, then the child's attitude would change to timid and frightened. To add to this, a person could always develop their attitude and values from someone else. If a person's home life wasn't particularly desired, values and attitudes could be developed by another role model, such as a teacher, grandparent, or another trusted adult. As you can see, values and attitudes can be developed in places other than their childhood, or by people other than their parents.

The main reason why is because many people have differences they can't help or avoid, such as race or ethnicity. It's wrong to discriminate against someone who can't control it. Throughout American history there is dozens if not hundreds of times where the U.S legal system is corrupted. For example back in the day if you were a minority you were usually given longer sentences just because of your race. The most common case today is if you're rich you seem to get a way less serious sentence. One case was a kid from a rich family was drunk and ran over five pedestrians, so his wealthy family hired the best tram of lawyers money could buy, outcome? he gets off for being "too spoiled" any other middle class kid does that and he gets five sentences of second degree murder. First of all, some people don't have a lot of money, and it isn't their fault. For example, if someone dressed really poorly, it doesn't mean anything about them as a person. Secondly, some people like to express themselves in different ways. Someone covered in tattoos and piercings and dressed in all black could be the nicest person you've ever met. Likewise, someone who dresses in nice, fashionable clothing could have a terrible personality. Not everyone conforms to their stereotypes. Lastly, people don't control what they physically look like. First, no one can choose their skin tone, so it's not their fault of why they look the way they do. We shouldn't judge someone just because they look different from ourselves. Also, throughout history we have judged someone on their outside appearance, but just like Martin Luther King Jr. said, he had a dream that one day race would not matter in society. Furthermore, all of us have to go through the struggles of life and everybody takes different paths. We shouldn't make it harder by treating someone poorly just because of their race. To your family, to your friends, to your community, etc. Everyone means something to someone. Second of all, the color of your skin, the color of your hair, your gender, your lifestyle, your past, your religion, your heritage and much more shouldn’t define what you deserve. We all have our own opinions and thoughts and choices, but we all are here on this earth together. Finally, we are all human. Parents and adults are trying to protect this day in age kids when really your only doing more harm. The world teaches us lessons and if you're consistently holding us up we’ll never fall down on our butts and learn how to stand on our own. Everyone can complain about something or say how unfair something is but the bigger person, the person who already realized all of that, will either change how unfair this all is or they’ll deal with this reality in a mature way. Smart people adapt and observe. For this, we have to let kids learn about the unfairness in the world without holding their hand.

Claire RutkofskeI strongly disagree with the statement most people never show real courage. First of all, I disagree with this statement because no matter who you are, you will show courage. Every living person shows courage in their daily lives by the choices they make and the risks they make and choose. The second reason I disagree is that many people see courage in different perspectives. One person may see courage as jumping off a cliff as others may see it as simply as mustering up to ask somebody a question. Depending on who you are, you may see courage in different ways. My third and final reason I strongly disagree with this statement because I do not believe there is such thing as real courage. One person's’ courage should be equal to another person's’ courage simply because everyone uses courage no matter how big or small their problem or situation is. In conclusion, I strongly disagree with the statement most people never show real courage, because everyone shows courage.

First off, gossip may or not be true, so if the gossip is not true, it is spreading lies about a person or multiple people which could end in hurt feelings. Next, gossip is typically the words of people who are unaware of the situation about other people, usually intended to hurt someone else's feelings. If it is aimed to hurt feelings, then why wouldn’t it? Finally, the last reason I disagree with the anticipation statement is because gossip is morally wrong, because you are spreading someone’s personal life to the whole world and doing that would be rude and disrespectful, which is morally wrong.

I agree with statement five, which reads that an important part of growing up is learning to accept life’s unfairness. Firstly, it is true that you will go through many hardships in your time, and you need to realize that. You must be able to identify your problems, and know that some are not under your control. Secondly, if you do not accept the fact that life has challenges, you will only have a harder time dealing with these situations. Thirdly, if you try to just avoid life’s trials, then you will not get as far in life. Running away and refusing to accept it will only makes things harder for you in due time. In conclusion, I believe that statement five is a true and correct statement.

First, people could lie about someone and ruin that person's self esteem and hurt their feelings. Next, not only can gossiping about someone just hurt their feelings, they could start hurting themselves, or others. Lastly, not only does gossiping make the other person look bad, it makes the person that is gossiping look even worse. In conclusion, I believe the statement gossip is rarely harmful is not true at all.

First, someone might not wear the same type of clothes everyday so you wouldn’t be able to learn much from something that constantly changes. Also, looks can be deceiving. Another reason is, everyone has different tastes so it would be hard to characterize a bunch of people just on there appearance. In conclusion a person's appearance doesn’t always tell you much.

Secondly, you should treat others the way you want to be treated. The effect you have on others brings out a tremendous out look of you. Lastly, our world has created a way for all of us to be equal. Laws were passed, education, and jobs. Why not take advantage of the fairness in our world? Therefore, i strongly agree with people are created equal and should be treated equal because we all have the same oppertunities as everyone else

I strongly disagree with the statement "Appearance tells you all you need to know about a person". First, you will never know truly what a person is like by just looking at them. A persons thoughts and actions come from the inside or there mind. Second, a persons look takes no action in what they do. Its what they think is right or wrong that makes a person do what they do. Third, a person and there friend may look nothing alike but do everything the same. Also, identical twins look just the same but do they act alike. In conclusion, a persons apperence doesn't tell you much at all about a person.

First, gossip is normally talking bad about people and putting them down, and that can be very harmful to people. Next, gossip is a form of bullying and bullying has never been a good thing or done anything but harm people. Finally, gossip does nothing but tear apart friendships and hurt everyone in the long run. In conclusion, gossip is very harmful and not something to be joked about.

First off I do agree with the first part of that statement saying "all people are created equal" I believe that to be true, but the second part to this statement gets me thinking, the choices each individual makes reflects how he/she will be treated. Everyone upon birth should be born with equal rights, but you have to remember that some people make bad choices. Such as murder, stealing, drugs, etc. These people are going to be treated differently then other people that didn't make those poor decisions. In conclusion I disagree with the statemement.

First of all, you can’t make a biased judgement based on someone’s outward appearances, as you have no idea who the person underneath it all really is. Second of all, we’re all human beings, all with the same rights. We don’t have certain places certain types of dogs can and cannot go.

I strongly agree that an important part of growing up is learning to accept life’s unfairness. To begin, kids need to understand that things don’t always go as planned so that when things go wrong, it has less of a harsh effect on them. Moreover, they must learn to deal with things being “unfair” because it is, indeed, an inevitable factor of society. To conclude, if a child never fully understands the fact that things won’t always be bright and sunny, then the harder it will be for them to accept adulthood and all of the responsibilities that go along with it. Learning to accept life’s unfairness is a very important part of growing up.

Also, in ancient times it was okay for two people to fight to the death which is horrible. First, your attitude will change from one activity to another, so when you grow up you will develop new attitudes as you experience new things. Also, even though parents are a big influence in your childhood growth, you still get influences from other places, such as friends, teachers, or even a friend’s parent. Finally, your values in life will change throughout your whole life, as you learn and grow, experience new things, and interact with new people, your values might be swayed or even completely changed. Second gossip can be bullying they could be making fun of the person they're talking about and that's bullying and can have an effect on him or her. Third gossip could be about something that didn't happen and somebody just made it up and it can start fights and get people into trouble in conclusion gossip is harmful and always will be.

If you’re not loyal to your family they won’t be able to trust you and family trust is the most important. First, you don't have to be the smartest person in your class to pass, you just have to know enough to succeed. Second, millions of people in africa don't have an education but they still know how to survive. Lastly, you don't need an education to be smart your brain could already know most of the information and you just pick it up along the way. Secondly, if a person is already self conscious about the way they look, or how they’re doing in school, you talking behind their back about it just makes the situation worse.
