I strongly disagree with the statement “Appearance tells you all you need to know about a person.” First, someones clothes don’t always match who they are. Furthermore, if a person has dingee clothing on that may imply that they are not wealthy but in reality they could be. Second, their attitude could be totally different  than how they look as they walk by. Lastly, appearance doesn't really matter when you want to talk to someone. In conclusion, this statement is very wrong.

I disagree with the statement “gossip is rarely harmful.” Gossip is almost always at  someone’s expense and usually it isn’t encouraging. firstly, when you gossip about someone, they usually don’t know about it. When they do find out about it, even if the gossip is true, it can be hurtful. Furthermore, when you gossip all the time you eventually run out of things to say and start making things up. This is a problem because when you make up rumors about someone they can spread and get back to them. Lastly, when you spread gossip, it brings down morale. The people your telling, depending on the gossip, could feel bad about what happened to the person you're talking about. In addition, the person you're talking about might be upset.

I strongly feel that all people are created equal and should be treated equally. First of all, everyone has a worth. You can have worth in many ways. To your family, to your friends, to your community, etc. Everyone means something to someone. Second of all, the color of your skin, the color of your hair, your gender, your lifestyle, your past, your religion, your heritage and much more shouldn’t define what you deserve. We all have our own opinions and thoughts and choices, but we all are here on this earth together. Finally, we are all human. No one deserves to be treated unequally because not everything should define us as who we are. Humans are diverse, but that shouldn't mean we should discriminate based on small things that make us who we are. In conclusion, I believe everyone deserves to be treated equally.

I very strongly agree with this statement. My religious beliefs directly align with this statement and support it. The United States of America was built around this belief and our legal system attempts to uphold it. The foundation of our great nation and the reason many settlers moved here was because people faced prejudices all over the eastern hemisphere and were looking for freedom; looking for equality.

I agree with statement five, which reads that an important part of growing up is learning to accept life’s unfairness. Firstly, it is true that you will go through many hardships in your time, and you need to realize that. You must be able to identify your problems, and know that some are not under your control. Secondly, if you do not accept the fact that life has challenges, you will only have a harder time dealing with these situations. Thirdly, if you try to just avoid life’s trials, then you will not get as far in life. Running away and refusing to accept it will only makes things harder for you in due time. In conclusion, I believe that statement five is a true and correct statement.

 I strongly disagree with anticipation statement number seven “appearance tells you all you need to know about a person” for several reasons. First, someone might not wear the same type of clothes everyday so you wouldn’t be able to learn much from something that constantly changes. Also, looks can be deceiving. Another reason is, everyone has different tastes so it would be hard to characterize a bunch of people just on there appearance. In conclusion a person's appearance doesn’t always tell you much.

First,values and attitudes are changing constantly.For example,my values have been changing since I came in America.Before I came here, my values were like only Japanese one.

You should never think of a person differently if they are not dressed in a suit and tie all the time or if they are in rags. If a man walked into a jewelry store dressed in a super expensive suit then he would have retailers trying to sell him everything in the store. If a man walked in a store dressed in old, dirty, worn out rags not a single jeweler would give him a glance.

I strongly agree that an important part of growing up is learning to accept life’s unfairness. To begin, kids need to understand that things don’t always go as planned so that when things go wrong, it has less of a harsh effect on them. Moreover, they must learn to deal with things being “unfair” because it is, indeed, an inevitable factor of society. I strongly agree with the statement “fear is the main reason for prejudice.” First, some people are prejudice over envy, which means that they fear that one person maybe better than another based on anything that looks different about them. On the other hand, people maybe be scared based off stories people have told them about a certain religion, race, etc. This causes fear which leads to discrimination against certain people. Finally, some people just live what is passed down on to them, so if their family discriminates more than likely they will also. I strongly disagree with the statement “Values and attitudes are developed only during childhood and are learned from parents”. First, your attitude will change from one activity to another, so when you grow up you will develop new attitudes as you experience new things. Also, even though parents are a big influence in your childhood growth, you still get influences from other places, such as friends, teachers, or even a friend’s parent. Finally, your values in life will change throughout your whole life, as you learn and grow, experience new things, and interact with new people, your values might be swayed or even completely changed. All in all, I disagree that we only learn values and attitudes when we are children because we are always growing and changing.

I think that a good education is important to getting a good job.First reasons is if you try to be a builder you need to be able to subtract,add,divide,times,inches,centimeters,feet.yards if you don’t you might have a lop sided house half of house or a small hous.

I strongly disagree that gossip is “rarely harmful.” First, gossiping about another makes them feel so down on themselves that they actually start to believe the rude things that are being said them. Secondly, if a person is already self conscious about the way they look, or how they’re doing in school, you talking behind their back about it just makes the situation worse. For example, things could escalate quickly and the victim could end up hurting himself. Lastly, you don’t know what they’ve been through and what’s going on at home. In conclusion, gossiping hurts more than people think.
