The aim was to introduce them to the eTwinning platform, helping them understand how it works and how to design and develop a project.

Thanks to the support of teacher of Ring the Rhyme project, the trainees had the opportunity to explore the platform’s main features, learn how to collaborate with other teachers across Europe, and gain practical insights into planning, managing, and implementing an eTwinning project in a school context.

This activity supported the development of digital, collaborative, and project-planning skills, which are essential for their future teaching practice.

The event concluded with a symbolic dance of students and parents around the “magical” object of the project, the rocket, breaking the spell together and closing this creative journey in the most beautiful way.

Additional activities will include reading fairy tales, listening to and discussing a variety of stories, and creating original narratives. Through creative tasks, students will practise writing and spelling skills in an engaging and enjoyable way, helping to develop their language literacy. These activities also encourage a love of reading, independent self-expression, and confidence in communication.

The acquisition of English language knowledge and skills, together with the development of effective learning habits and strategies, is expected to help students:

• develop basic reading and writing skills and improve their English reading competence;

• foster a love of books, independent self-expression, and confidence in communication;

• build fundamental skills for reading comprehension and listening comprehension;

• develop basic communication skills in English;

• acquire essential learning and communication strategies in English;

• become familiar with the culture and traditions of other countries.
