This is my favorite moment from the SULAM project. I love seeing the kids so happy during the activities. Little did they know, we were planting seeds of environmental awareness in them. It may be just a small part of their memories, but I’m confident they learned something valuable that day.

This is part of my favorite moment during the SULAM project at Kampung Rasau Hilir, Puchong. I loved seeing their effort and energy as they joined us in the Zumba session. Not only the kids, but the adults were also energetic in following our steps. Some of them were even more powerful than us.

I spent a meaningful day at Kampung Rasau Hilir, running pre- and post-questionnaires for my field study. The locals were so welcoming and eager to share their thoughts, which made the whole process feel worthwhile. 🌿 Seeing everyone’s involvement reminded me how important community voices are in balancing development with environmental care. It was great to see everyone so involved; it showed how much they care about their community. ✨

This is my favorite picture during the SULAM Project. Children who are naturally playful and enthusiastic, we gave them a little sharing about environmental awareness. There were times when they played like little children, but when we called them to join the environmental awareness activity that we did, they stopped playing and you can feel on their faces that they are interested in environmental awareness. This can provide good exposure about the environment for future generations regardless of ethnicity

This is one of my most favorite photos. It was a very special moment when the grandma still remembered us, even though she rejected us outside the door during the flyer distribution. Although we have different ages, different races, and different backgrounds, we are still able to be connected through the SULAM project. This project not only creates lasting human connections, but we also provide some knowledge to the indigenous community and are able to reduce the cultural gap between us.

Although I couldn’t attend SULAM Project Day, it’s truly inspiring to see the incredible success of our program! As part of the outreach team, I had the rewarding challenge of securing a partnership with UCO Company, and after some hurdles, we made it happen. My favorite moment from SULAM was definitely when my group and I conducted demonstrations on composting and soap-making. I really enjoy these kinds of interactive activities because it allow us to engage with the community face-to-face. It was so much fun to see their reactions to the demonstrations, and I loved answering their questions. I could clearly see their curiosity and interest in what we were presenting.

I love this photo as it capturing one of the chaotic situation during the first activity with the kids. The kids are very energetic and excited while us were struggling in handling them. But, it was so fun though, trying to calm they down as we need to start the games. I was amazed by their ways of friendship, they might look as in fighting but actually they are joking around.

This is my first time become the zumba instructor, throughout this session, I felt a deep sense of pride and accomplishment seeing the smiles and enthusiasm of the participants. I also felt grateful for the chance to contribute to their well-being and to build a stronger bond with the local people. This project reinforced my confidence, leadership skills, and understanding of the importance of teamwork and community service in creating meaningful connections.

I am very glad that this moment was captured. Thank you to the person who took this photo. I did not have many interactions with my own grandma, so this experience was especially meaningful to me. This nenek cannot read much, so I offered to help her. She was very grateful for our presence, as her children and grandchildren were not around that week.

Overall, during the questionnaire session, although most of the respondents could not complete it on their own, they were very cooperative and gave their full support in completing it.

My favourite part in SULAM Project is played my role as a logistics committee. It is important for every project and program needs to be prepared properly to ensure the project will run smoothly. It also needs a commitment and responsibility to handle the task given successfully. SULAM Project taught me that handling project is not simple and easy things to do.

This is one of my memories during the SULAM program, while helping them answer questions I was able to talk to them heart to heart especially about the problem of solid waste management in the village. They also treated me well and I am grateful to be able to participate in this program because I was able to pamper them more closely.💓

I’m glad I had the chance to give a talk to the community to raise awareness. The audience was mostly aged 30 to 50, which was challenging as I had to keep their attention. I used simple words to make it easier for them to understand.

I hope I get another chance to do better in the future. I learned a lot by observing the audience while I spoke. Now, I understand how teachers and lecturers feel when they try their best to teach us.

This moment from the SULAM program has remained etched in my memory to this day. At that time, I was nervously watching through the window, waiting for the event in the hall to start. Observing the zumba sessions, especially my friends dancing joyfully with the kids, helped ease my nerves. I enjoyed watching as the children actively participated and followed the moves. One thing I learned from that day is that certain things won't go as planned, even if we have thoroughly prepared. Some things are destined to happen, and that's okay. Avoid being anxious and find close alternatives to solve the problem. Everything will be fine as long as you trust yourself!

This is a picture of my favorite moments with the kids. Honestly, I’m not someone who loves kids, as I don’t really know how to handle them. But yeah, I managed it well, and the kids weren’t too annoyed—they’re so cute! I’m grateful to have gotten to know them and to do activities with them. Although at first, we were a bit awkward because we were too shy to handle the kids, Alhamdulillah, it all went well in the end. It’s such a sweet and memorable experience with the kids.

This picture best represents the sense of unity beteen the students and the community with the students helping to guide residents of Kg Rasau Hilir with filling in the report. this theme would go on for the rest of the campaign with showcases of upcycled goods to let them know its possible to turn old material into useful goods. and as well as teaching them how to make soap and composts.

This was a meaningful experience for me because I was able to share our knowledge about making soap from used oil where the people there never knew oil could be reused. This gives them the opportunity to explore new things that can also be used as their economic source. This is a very meaningful activity where we communicated with local residents to understand the situation and current status of the local community. Additionally, we discussed a series of sustainable development knowledge with local community residents and children, such as waste management. This has been very rewarding for me, and it once again made me realize the importance of sustainable development. Overall, it has taught me a lot and allowed us to combine knowledge with practice.

This is my favorite moment when I got the chance to be the Zumba instructor. I love seeing how much the kids enjoy the session, and I'm so grateful to have good friends who helped me find the right songs and choreography ideas throughout the practice. I really appreciate how all my friends supported me in becoming a Zumba instructor. For me, this is such a memorable experience that I’ll always carry with me. Also, I'm super grateful for the supportive participants on SULAM Day for coming to our program on Sunday. I think everyone did an awesome job in helping the participants understand how important it is to implement sustainable solid waste management practices.

One of the moments I like from this program is when the children there are enthusiastic while playing the recycle bin game. From there, I am sure they can learn the knowledge to match the types of garbage according to the proper category. The cooperative attitude between group members is also very satisfying.
