MIDTERMS MODULE 3 ~ Taking one step at a time: Appreciating one's own pacing and capacity

What struck me the most during the activity is the value of having to recognize my experiences, and how it influences my life and my actions. Through this, I realized that life is, indeed, a journey and each day is one step for us to take. In relation to this, I admit that it is still difficult for me to identify the strengths, skills, and fields that I excel in the most. Despite this, I tried to identify my weaknesses first, so that I may work on them and overcome it. One of which is my habit of overthinking, and lack of self-esteem. It is quite hard for me to overcome these, but I still try to do so. One concrete example is that, just like what Sir Sanchez mentioned earlier, I also find myself guilty of multitasking. I believe that this is caused by the pressure of having to finish early, or the anxiety of losing the will to do it at another time. With this, as I overthink, I still strive to remind myself that I must work on my own pacing aligned to my capacity and to appreciate the things that I've done so far. Through this, I'll be able to do my tasks genuinely, without negative thoughts in my head. At the same time, I am genuinely comforted with how the class initiates support, communication, and inclusivity, as it serves as a motivation for me and an assurance that I am not alone, especially when I encounter challenges. Lastly, I promised myself that, in everything that I do, I will try my best to fulfill it as a result of my passion, and genuine intentions and one of my dreams is for everyone to be genuinely happy with what they will choose to do, as well.

MIDTERMS MODULE 7 ~ Kumustahan: Recognizing one's emotions and experiences

As the final week of midterms approaches, I have to say that it was really a hectic schedule for the class. Also, the deadlines were overwhelming. I feel guilty whenever I rant and sulk over the tons of requirements we need to accomplish. Also, here are times that I feel like it was ceaseless, I was losing motivation and hope if I can actually finish these on time, and with proficient quality. Although, I am still proud of myself because I am still able to compose myself, after those moments of anxiety and negativity. Moreover, I decided that it is a must to manage my time wisely. At times like this, I am always reminded to be responsible , but also to be mindful of my well-being. However, I admit that this one of the challenges that I always encounter, which is to find the balance between these two things, and eventually fail to follow the time table I planned for my tasks. It's either I work too much or I spent too much of time for leisure. Later on, I realized that working too much may be the result of extreme exhaustion, thus resting takes too much of my time. And so, it is really important not only to manage my time well and to organize my tasks, but also to actually implement this effectively. It is through this that I think can help me in achieving my goals, and at the same time being genuinely fulfilled with my performance, and being healthy in all aspects of my well-being.

FINALS MODULE 2 ~ Exploring my personalities

Given that we have to answer the survey, I was really curious about the analysis of the personalities that I will input. However, during the process, it was quite difficult for me to choose which personalities fit me the most. This has always been a personal dilemma as I've always identified myself as someone who is average. This means that I do not really excel or lack on something too much. Thus, while answering the survey, it felt like every characteristic seems to be applicable for me. Despite this, I know that there are certain personalities that still stand out. Even though it was quite hard, what helped me to identify these is that I resulted to thinking of concrete situations and experiences that describe such personalities mentioned. After going through the interpretation of the survey, there are parts that I agree to and I was amazed by how it was accurate. However, there were descriptions that was quite conflicting. With this, I can draw out how my personalities may actually vary, which may be dependent with my experience and situation. Aside from this, I learned the importance of balance, wherein it is okay not to manifest all the good qualities, because what's truly essential is to have that healthy balance which must be equally distributed to contribute for the betterment of oneself, other people, and the community we live in.

FINALS MODULE 4 ~ Firming up the Theresian value of truth

I aim to strengthen the Theresian value of truth. One behavior that allows me to practice this value is the way I seek to be always aware of the current events, and also as I strive to have integrity in everything that I do, in my different roles, as a student, daughter, sister, and servant of the Lord. However, there are some circumstances that hinder me from strengthening and living out the value of truth, and one of which is my own selfish intentions, wherein I get blinded as I regard these personal desires as more important than the betterment of the community, and also to my own personal growth and development. Despite this, one of the steps that I can take in order to demonstrate this value more fully is practice empathy, wherein I do not only focus on my own personal life, but also to see things through the perspective of those people around me.
