Irturbide came up with three ideas to show his support for the revolution as well as to help the revolution to be better.
1) A monarch would rule but Mexicans would have their independence.
2) There would be equal rights between creoles and peninsulares.
3) The Roman Catholic church would be the official church of mexico.
