An endangered animal is at a risk of becoming extinct. Dinasours are the largest group of animals that have been extinct.  Other creatures that have been extinct are dodo birds, mamouth and sabre tooth cats. Endargement of animals is occuring at an alarming rate due of evorliment changes, the destruction of habitat, the storage of food supply, and being hunted. People are hunting animals for money like killing elephants for their horns.
