         <description><![CDATA[<div>Athens allowed only free me to be citizens women and slaves were not permitted citizenship and men born in Athens that are over the age 18 were considered Athens citizen.<br><br>Sparta&nbsp; had a council of elders that had 2 kings and 28 other men. To be in the council of elders men have to be 60.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Athens traded goods for the goods they needed like wood.They also made there own coins out of gold ,silver ,and bronze.<br><br>Sparta did not trade they took what they needed from other city-states.They also did not have coins so they had iron bars because it was harder for people to steal them.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;In Athens slaves and women taught young boys till they were old enough to go to school.The women took care of the house.<br><br><br>In Sparta women&nbsp;had more rights in Sparta and were free to speak with there husbands friends.The slaves Sparta had were treated harshly. </div>]]></description>
