The High Renaissance period was a time of rich, classical art that was deeply rooted in humanities. Raphael was born in 1483 and died in 1520, but left a legacy that has lasted thousands of years behind him. His style reflected the era he lived in, which was  centered around humanist ideals. But, his art was much more than that, it emphasized a new idea beauty all around, particularly in people, while also containing emotionality.
