Health and safety is the key to learning as accidents may happen anytime. Know what needs to be done when something happens. Any day can be an accidents unexpected. It’s good to know about medications, and other stuff.

What i am grateful for is to learn more about health and safety regulations because we need to be healthy and safe at the daycare. Being healthy at the daycare is important because we all need a place to work and for parents can work as well.

Being safe at daycare is important for staff and children because we are their first priority because we have to keep children and staff all safe in order to keep a daycare running. Making sure children can come to us when feeling ill or anything that they can feel safe about.

I am grateful to be going through the regulations again, because we often forget about some of these regulations that are in Place. One i am grateful for is outdoor play, we have been getting the children to go outside even for 10 minutes, and we change see the change in some children, when they start to feel overwhelmed and we go outside, I can see that going outside is what they needed.

I am grateful that we are learning about Health and Safety procedures, being reminded is good for us as sometimes doing daily routine at a Daycare centre can be a handful at times. Handling healthy food and making sure the child is not allergic is one and safety regulations are very important.

I am grateful to learn about health and safety, it is important we know about them as parents are trusting us to keep their child/ren all day. And if we didn’t know, we would/could have put the children’s life in danger.

I am grateful to learn about the all health and safety regulations, as I had to learn on my own as we go. Taking this course is helping me understand more about the importance of keeping the daycare sanitized, serving healthy food and making sure the daycare has all the supplies needed to provide a healthy and safe environment.

I am grateful to learn a lot about health and safety, during this course I’ve learn so much and grateful to be in this course but my goal is to attend first aid course because i easily get panic when something serious happens but i always try be calm cause that is what we were told not to be panic when kids are watching.

Biggest learning so far about HS&R is learning and memorizing the emergencies phone numbers and parents phone numbers.

Surprised to learn that not all foods are safe for some kids to eat.

I’ve got to learn more about regulations about a daycare. I have learn a lot about the policy’s at other daycares. I’ am grateful I got to learn more.
