For me, plagiarism is stealing someone's work or ideas and claiming them as your own. I always avoid doing this since it is unfair to the original creator and it is also punishable under the law. However, I do sometimes worry about accidentally plagiarizing, especially when I’m working on assignments with lots of research where it is easy to forget to cite all sources. That’s why I make sure to double-check my work and always give credit by citing sources correctly. This helps me feel more confident that my work is authentic and honest.

Plagiarism, in my opinion, is copying someone else's work or ideas without giving them proper credit, and pretending to own it like it's your work. I worry sometimes that I'll unintentionally use something without giving credit, especially when I forget to remember where I got the ideas. Therefore, I always make sure to track some sources, put ideas in my own words, and make sure to give credit when needed to avoid plagiarism in my assignments.

Jan Anthony O. Genson

Plagiarism is dangerous territory. To publish and to claim someone else's work as your own, it's very much an act of thievery and disrespect to the original authors and only serves to ruin your reputation more than building it. In my opinion, it's hard to avoid repeating ideas and phrases that have already been made before. In high school, I made a report which made the teacher confront me and lecture me on plagiarism. The report was written in an emotional fervor because I discovered something that upset me while researching on the topic, and none of the words were taken from anywhere else but my own brain. After that ordeal, I decided to always re-read my work and try to switch up certain phrases that I deem "too common". You can never be too careful these days, so it won't hurt to try and form your sentences a bit more differently than you're used to.

Taking credit for another person's hard work is a serious offense, considering there are consequences and also that academic and workplace settings highly value originality and authenticity. There are instances when I do worry about accidentally plagiarizing someone else's work, mainly if we have an assignment to write a paper about a topic in which I have no learning background. I do research and then paraphrase some sentences from the articles I discovered. I have no intention of copying their work. I only attempt to relay the information I have gained from it. So, I make sure to provide proper citations to give credit to the writers. I also use plagiarism detection tools to make sure that I am not plagiarizing any work.

Plagiarism can be defined as copying someone's work from word to word and claiming it as their own, it can either be intentional or unintentional. Yes, I'm actually concerned about accidentally plagiarizing someone's work. Because sometimes, when we think about the same thing, we can also explain or define it exactly the same as what others think. Or even by simply thinking of an idea, no matter how vast the world can be. We can see ideas that are almost identical. To ensure that I can avoid plagiarism in my assignment, especially in works that need a lot of research. I'll make sure that I list down all the sources I use and cite sources properly. Not just citing them for the sake of avoiding plagiarism but also citing them correctly and accordingly to what citation styles should be used. Even the simplest details need to be cited properly to give credit and respect to the owner.

Plagiarism is taking someone else’s ideas, words, or work and pretending they’re our own without giving any credit. It’s crucial to be mindful of this because, in our country, the Philippines, it’s not just about academic integrity—it’s also a legal issue. If caught, the penalties and consequences can be severe, including up to six years in prison and fines ranging from fifty thousand to one hundred fifty thousand pesos. Yes, I’m very much worried about accidentally and unintentionally plagiarizing someone’s work. It’s a big concern for me, especially when I’m searching through a lot of information from different sources. I can really empathize with how frustrating and unfair it must be for authors who have put so much effort into their work, only to see it taken without proper credit. I want my work to be a true reflection of my ideas and effort, so I’m careful to always give credit where it’s due. To avoid plagiarism in my work and other technical writings, I keep careful notes on my sources and always cite them properly. I use quotation marks for direct quotes and rephrase information in my own words when possible. I follow the appropriate citation styles and double-check my work, sometimes using plagiarism detection tools. Though I don’t fully trust AI tools to detect plagiarism, I ensure every piece of information, idea, and quote borrowed from other sources is properly acknowledged in my work.

Francisco, Jeric T.

For me, plagiarism is one of the most crucial problems with sources, because they work hard on their content, yet people use it without permission or giving proper credit. Every time I do research, I always think about plagiarism because I'm worried that my work might unintentionally fall into it. I make sure to take notes whenever I gather information, verify its accuracy, and, most importantly, record the source and include a link for reference. This way, I ensure I don't forget to give credit and can avoid plagiarism.

Nabua, Ronna Mie E.

The act of plagiarism happens when someone uses somebody else's thoughts or ideas and claims they are their own. It's the same as stealing someone else's schoolwork or assignment without recognizing them. I believe it is important to provide recognition to the original author or creator so that you do not take credit for work that is not your own. Of course, I'm concerned about accidently plagiarizing, especially when I'm researching and attempting to put topics into my own words. I easily to forget where I base my certain information, but I don't want to make it like I came up with those ideas by myself. If I use exact words from someone else, I make sure to use quotation marks and give them credit by citing my sources. I also try to put things in my own words and just check the grammar in any Ai's

Daisy Jean S. Catubig

1. For me, plagiarism is about taking someone else’s work and making it yours. Most of the times we can’t fully express or explain well our own ideas, like we are looking for the right words to say it. When this happens, we usually search for other people’s idea and when we find the words we are looking for we usually just copy paste it, without revising, paraphrasing or even giving credit to the rightful owner of the piece. This is when plagiarism takes place, and this commonly occurs in making research papers.

2. Yes, because sometimes we are not aware that we are already plagiarizing other people’s work. When it is so hard to look for resources, there are tendencies that we get tempted to copy other people’s work instead of getting their ideas and making your own ideas.

3. When making my assignment, I will search for that information that is needed specially when it is an objective matter. But I always make sure to have give my own thoughts specially when it the assignment is about my opinion on a certain matter, like when we are to make an essay. But in terms of research papers, I make sure to get the right information needed and paraphrase it and make it into my own words and I have to make sure that I give credit to the rightful owners or do citations on my papers.

GERZON, RAY F.

1. Plagiarism for me is the act of using someone else's ideas, words, or work without proper acknowledgment or permission, presenting them as one's own. This includes copying text, ideas, or creative works directly, as well as paraphrasing or summarizing someone else's content without giving credit. A good example of this is if you copy a paragraph from a website and paste it into your report without mentioning the source, that's plagiarism. Even if you rephrase the ideas but don’t credit where they came from, it’s still considered plagiarism.

2. As a student, I’d definitely worry about accidentally plagiarizing. Because sometimes, even if it is our own idea, there are times that when you check it, plagiarism is found. I'd be concerned about using sources correctly and ensuring that I give proper credit for any ideas or information I use. To avoid this, I'd make sure to cite my sources properly, use quotation marks for direct quotes, and double-check my work to ensure that I'm not unintentionally copying someone else’s ideas.

3. Simple thing to do to avoid plagiarism in your assignment: make sure to understand the material and write in your own words. Always cite sources properly and use quotation marks for direct quotes. Keep track of where your information comes from and use plagiarism detection tools to double-check your work. This way, you ensure that you give proper credit and avoid unintentionally copying others’ ideas.
