The rain forest has lots of rain because it is very hot and wet. This climate is found near the equator.
4.Tropical Rain Forest Biome Landscape Features.Tropical rain forests inhabit the equatorial belt, and are characterized by intense sunlight, heat and large amounts of rainfall. The largest forests are found in South America, Central Africa and the Indonesian archipelago.

They must be able to cope with cold winters and hot summers.
4. The temperate deciduous forest is a biome that is always changing. It has four distinct seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall. Winters are cold and summers are warm. Temperate deciduous forests get between 30 and 60 inches of precipitation a year.
