Using these clues we can say that she might've been drunk or high, and she got dizzy, causing her to stumble around and eventually trip, on the way down she hit her head and was killed after a while of bleeding out.

From these clues we can theorize, that the substance(s) found next to Anna were sedatives to put Anna to sleep, then the assailant bashed Anna's head against the object, effectively killing her.
