They are also educated and trained to recognise the variations of normal progress of labor, and understand how to deal with deviations from normal.

A midwife is a trained health professional who helps healthy women during labor, delivery, and after the birth of their babies. Midwivesmay deliver babies at birthing centers or at home, but most can also deliver babies at a hospital. Women who choose them have had no complications during their pregnancy.

By doing this it can help prevent risk of injury and illness in the future. 

    If a person has been involved in a car crash and that has resulted in them having whiplash, they will see the physiotherapist. From there the therapist will diagnose the condition and then discuss different methods on solving the problem. For whiplash, a physiotherapist would normally use manual therapy, which is massages to get rid of pain and tension.
