Goldman explains that this is his favorite book, the book his father used to read to him when he was sick.<br><strong>S. Morgenstern</strong>  -  The fictional Florinese author of The Princess Bride. We know nothing about him other than what William Goldman extracts from the original version.<br><strong>Westley</strong> -  Buttercup's beloved Farm Boy. Westley is a brave, multi-talented man who leaves to seek his fortune, is reportedly murdered by the Dread Pirate Roberts, and returns, costumed as the Man in Black, to rescue Buttercup from everything that threatens her </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>William Goldman, (born August 12, 1931, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.), American novelist, screenwriter, and playwright noted for his versatility, his works ranging from witty comedies to dramas, as well as for his talent for writing dialogue. Goldman grew up in a suburb of Chicago, the son of a businessman and his wife. He attended Oberlin College in Ohio, where he was an editor for the school’s literary magazine and graduated in 1952. He went on to earn a master’s degree in English from Columbia University in New York in 1956.</div>]]></description>
