As Thomas is left in quarantine he is dirty hungry and not in his right mind trying to keep trac of the days because he need to stay there for 20 days. Then After Tom and Minho are let out they are told they can get their memories back but have to go through a suspiciously way of doing it which is surgery. They also figure out that After that Brenda helps Thomas and Minho escape the surgery and they flee.

Also I liked how Thomas and his friends meet Gally and the Right arm who also hate the WICKED and need Thomas's help in order to destroy WICKED. Thomas had to think about it before he went and did something to rash that could possibly affect him and his friends in the plan. I disliked how they made Newt the one who was still affected by the virus called the Flare. It really made me feel like he wasn't going to make it.
