Walking around his home town and he is able to catch glimpses of the past and future. He meets ancient kings and see's the future landscape of the town he calls home. "He sees more apparition's in the older parts of the city than anywhere else..." We are never given a clear definition of what an "ice man" is, yet the narrator is married to one and in time becomes pregnant with a little "ice man". Om Prakash doesn't do anything particularly strange, he just gives off a strange vibe. He claims to work for Pandit Vidyanath, but we never meet this person. He works in giving people's lives meaning through a computer. One line that stuck out to me was "A bee crawls out of his ear..." A very odd sentence to randomly throw in, and gives off an eerie feeling, adding to the strangeness off his profession.

If they spent more time dwelling on how strange a strange things is, it loses its strangeness. Instead we hear about an Ice Man or meeting people from the past or future and it is brushed off as no big deal.
