She moved to Canada 20 years ago. She works with Immigrant Services Calgary helping recently arrived immigrants obtain employment and establish their careers. She works with them one on one helping them write their resumes, set up job interviews and network professionally. This work fills her with great satisfaction and happiness.
She has taken a holistic approach drawing on her multicultural and multilingual heritage, as well as her strong family values, to easily relate to immigrants who come from diverse Asian cultures and ethnicities, connecting them with her professional network so they can get the guidance and mentoring that they need and thus facilitate their trip towards job success. Her motto is to help newcomers make Canada their new home. She strongly believes that it is necessary to attract immigrants with new skills to contribute to the diversification and development of the economy in Alberta. Celeste Theory found a way to help victims of parent alienation and abuse, and she began a docu-series called Becoming Celeste Theory. She is Vietnamese Asian descent was born in North Bay, Ont. and raised in Calgary. She moved 41 times in 41 years. When she was 26, she went to Vietnam to visit relatives she had never met before where learned that in the early 1980's her parents escaped the Vietnam war by boat. She had her own business one day where created unity and allow each individual to be their authentic self. Her salon became a safe haven for victims of abuse where they would come and share their stories on our Facebook live feed. So she realized our community was suffering in silence from things not spoken about. 

Susan Veres taught her how to take creativity and turn it into a brand and bring visions to life. Wanda Kogawa taught her to build business processes with a  win-win model. Colleen O'Shea became like her second mom and was a rock for her. She has taught Theory that when you are down, you are never out. So has learned to be strong.

Sangeeta Sharma helps immigrant women with career opportunities. She struggled with financial stability as a newcomer and now runs a successful cosmetology college in the city, while offering scholarships to women who faced domestic abuse or were victims of human trafficking. 
Sangeeta is from India and she love her community here in Canada. Upon her arrival in Canada in 1992, she was involved in with the Indian community.  She is always there to lend a hand to whoever needs it. She has a soft spot for immigrant women; she always tries to give them a chance with jobs and training in the beauty industry to help them with their careers. Upon arriving in Canada, and being one more immigrant, I understood how difficult it was for them to start a new life from scratch, which makes me admire them even more. When reading the article "Meet 10 Asian Calgarians who are paving the path for generations to come" Tamania Jaffri's story caught my attention, since her objective is similar to mine: to ensure that the new generations do not forget their traditions, their culture and above all, their native language. This wonderful woman has dedicated her life to preserving the Urdu language and culture and her story is inspiring. First female ambassador for 2021. one of her objective is to improve youth communication, she have noticed that young people particularly in recent years, have a hard time talking about and asking for help with the challenges they're dealing with. She want to be a role model for them and offer them a voice in addition, some of long term aspirations include becoming a journalist and fashion model. Alice is an avid volunteer in Calgary's Chinatown. She was on the Advisory Committee for the Tomorrow's Chinatown project for the City of Calgary, and also led historic Calgary tours for the general public.
