*depends on how much the person is really believing in the cause
*co-conspirator is physically with the cause / allies believe but not physically joining
*there can be different levels of how much allies are with the cause
*sometimes we do or say certain things because it is appealing but real intensions can be different
*if we don't de anything, we are allowing the status quo to just happen
*role models from top down, will not happen if we are not supported
*have kids write letter or advocate for something
*teach from historical, things that happened
*erasing or putting away what happened does not erase what had happened and we can learn from what had happened
*need right leadership that would care about the issues and be right role model
*how do we balance what needs to be taught??

For Freedom Dreaming, we talked about opinion writing and problem-solving lenses as well as activism in their classroom, school, district, city, state, country or world around them :).  It has to do a lot with being active participants in society and making sure that kids know that they have a voice (to make change :).  It can be in various forms such as letter writing, making signs, brainstorming, etc.  As foundations to all of this work, we start with love, joy and listening ears to truly hear our students' thoughts and feelings about their surroundings :).
