Conor was doing the same thing to his grand mother, he thought she was the worst person ever and he wanted her to go away, but she really wasn't that bad. In the second story, it's about someone being nice to the Apothecary, only when he needed his daughters healed. This is like Conor, who is only nice to the yew tree when he is begging it to heal his mother. Then in the very last tale, it's about an invisible man, who is tired of not being seen, and makes people see. This happens to Conor, when he is tired of being ignored, so he make people pay attention to him by getting mad and then beating up Harry. If you haven't read the book, I don't think you would really be able to understand what is going on. Also, I wish the movie included Lily, because I feel like she plays a big role, defending conor, and giving him that note when he felt alone the most. She is the one who told everyone about Conor's mom being sick. If it weren't for her, Conor wouldn't be bullied, and wouldn't have such a hard time at school.
