He had a pet bear and its name was Smokey. Bear was trained to survive in cold or warm weather. His parents was the ones who trained him. Bear has been training in the wild since he was 5. The parents got Smokey before Bear was born. Thats where he got his name from. His parents got Smokey because it was a little cub stranded in the wild. Michael and Sarah are the names of the parents. They also had experience of surviving in the wild. He even made a T.V show. He came across a man laying down in the middle of the trail.  he hurried and brought the poor unprepared man to the camp where the boys were.  They hurried him by the fire where he would warm up.

(Bear)"I'm Bear Grylls, nice to meet you" 
Grylls got the man some food to eat  so he would get some energy.
