The series talks about the doctor Shaun who arrived in this new hospital and is greeted by the prejudices of colleagues, a bit skeptical of the hospital’s decision to hire an autistic doctor.

During the study of nursing all students have the opportunity to have practical experience in the hospital and personally I really find it a beautiful and stimulating thing and sometimes it also makes you understand that, maybe, it is not the right path for you. My first experience in hospital was in the cardiology department in the pediatric hospital Bambino Gesù; I was excited and a bit nervous as it was my first time working in a healthcare setting. On my first day, I was assigned to a nurse who had extensive experience in cardiology. She introduced herself and made me feel comfortable right away. She explained that the cardiology department mainly focused on the care of patients with heart-related conditions. During the day I was told all the things that are done daily in this department and how, in such a department, it is essential to monitor vital signs, pressure and oxygen saturation. One annoying thing I had to get used to was the beeping of monitors or various pumps or the heart of Berlin playing continuously and honestly many days, after the shift, I had a great headache but with time you get used to it. The more days passed and the more I became "autonomous" in doing things and the more I understood how much I liked this job.

Throughout my time in the cardiology department, I had the opportunity to interact with patients and their families. I witnessed the importance of providing emotional support and reassurance to patients who were anxious about their heart conditions. Overall, my first experience in the cardiology department as a nursing student was incredibly extraordinary, it also ignited my passion for cardiology and affirmed my choice to pursue a career in nursing.

And of course follow a light diet without abusing fatty and fried foods”

[Filippo Giordani]: “Thanks Dr. Ferretti we will definitely be more careful to what he eats Sara”

The desire to help people in need has always been rooted in me, but I really only got the confirmation during my first experience in hospital, where I realized that nursing was my true vocation and that was what I wanted to do in life.

I decided to enroll in nursing at the last moment because I was undecided with other faculties such as obstetrics or speech therapy that have both in common in order to help others; then when I discovered that there was the possibility of choosing "pediatric nursing" instead of "general nursing" I immediately chose it without even thinking twice, because I always dreamed of doing a job that included children.

I had a personal experience with a family member who got sick, and seeing the compassionate care provided by the nurses really inspired me.
