The solid waste generally comes from the cleaning, washing, cutting, deboning, peeling and desroceding stage. In the pre-treatment stage, fruit residues are generated that must be eliminated before moving on to the other stages of the process.
The handling of sugar and citrus fruits can cause dermatitis.
Exposure to residues of insecticides, fungicides, soil parasites and antibiotics added to certain fruits can lead to dermatitis and allergies.
Workers often have problems in the spine, due to the lifting of heavy loads.
Sometimes hearing impairments occur due to prolonged exposure to excessive noise from the machinery.
NONCONFORMITIES
We find high costs for unnecessary consumption of electricity, and drinking water in all processes from the receipt of the raw material (Fruits), to the washing of equipment and machines. Non-compliance with the guidelines of good environmental practices, and the measures chosen by the company regarding the intelligent use of resources and inputs in production.

We find hypochlorite for the washing of equipment and machines without the label that says "dangerous product" together with other non-dangerous products.

The audit team noted that the washing of the tanks where drinking water is stored for use in the jam mix, has not been washed and disinfected two years ago, which can generate fungi, and bacteria by the amount of water there. stores, no maintenance of paint has been done, which shows oxides by different parts.
The company has not implemented effective provisions for communicating with customers in relation to their complaints.
