The article 'Collapse' Diamond (2005) asserts that human beings destroy the nature , poisoning the soil and causing the global warming. He claims that we are still damaging the earth but it is not too late to deal with these problems we create. The knowledge of past mistakes and technology can be used as a solution to make up our mistakes. In the article 'Planet or Plastic', Parker(2018) states that people are aware of the problems we are having today. And are not only aware, but they started to working on to find solutions (you need to state how are they aware of these problems? Which communication tool has raised their awarenss? Article contains the effects of microplastic on the life cycle such as health problems (Is this idea relevant to what you discuss here: Communication tools and how can they help us solve our problems?). Also Cohen(2010) claims that we have to use alternative materials for plastic (where do we learn about her ideas? Which communication tool? The Internet / and how can this help us solve our problems?).

You have good points here, but you need to explain and integrate your examples with your argument. MET

Although Diamond(2005) claims that we have the opportunity to change previous mistakes thanks to technology, this idea is not realistic. there are three main reasons why this idea is not realistic which are being selfish, ignorance and the paradox created by technology. Firstly, even people know the negative effects of their acts, in order to maximize their profits (Stazyk, Moldovanova and Frederickson, 2014) (use only Surnames in academic writing) they don' care about nature so technology doesn't have any positive impacts on selfish beings.
Secondly, most of the people don't know how to they use technology in a correct way which means they don't know how to reach information even if technology provide them with information. Lastly, technology cause a kind paradox like it fix the harms which it they have created own their own at the beginning (you point is not clear here). For example even submarines go under sea to clean water to provide fish clean water, these submarines also use fossil fuels and it causes water pollution (you need to make the resource clear here).

You have good points and a clear response but you need to elaborate your examples.
Although Diamond (2008) claims that people will struggle with the environmental problems by learning from their past mistakes, this idea is not realistic due to the fact that people are self-centered. Firstly, destroying natural habitats will not be prevented due to increasing population of people and the greediness of companies in construction sector. Furthermore, the overconsumption of fossil fuels will not be avoided owing to tragedy of commons which means people will not change their habits.

In the article entitled "Collapse" Diamond (2005) claims that all problems in the world are not impossible to solve as humanity created them and they have the technology to solve them. According to the author, man is destroying natural habitats and turn them into man made things such as villages and farmlands. Also,he mentioned that due to overconsumption of fossil fuels, they get scarce and will cause more problems in the future such as pollution and being costly. Moreover, he states that toxic chemicals are both dangerous for human health and mother earth such as illnesses and soil pollution. Furthermore, human activities cause greenhouse gases that creates Global Warming and it harms ozone layer. Therefore, the temperature of the world increases in time. Lastly, Diamond highlights that the number of living people is not the main problem. Some of low population but developed countries consume resources and waste much more. The writer concludes with the point that if this situation continues, the world will suffer more than now, but we are clever enough to learn from the past mistakes and create solutions.

Diamond’s (2005) argument that people has created serious problems; however, people can solve these by using communication and learning from the past mistakes. This idea is unreasonable since his encouragements are nearly impossible on current conditions like consumption as in Third World countries which has lots of diseases. Moreover, Parker(

So far so good, but you need to give more examples by referring to the articles read in class. MET
