Principals must play an active role in understanding the special education laws and policies to support students in all settings. The following is one of the research questions within the study: · What is the impact on students’ learning in an inclusion setting as it directly relates to educational leaders’ knowledge of teaching strategies and best practices for students with disabilities?

This study focuses on the relationship between school leaders and school culture. More specifically, I conducted research to determine if the leadership team and the organization and conversations of a leadership team had an impact on school culture. I also conducted research to determine if the assistant principal made a direct impact on school culture. Lastly, I analyzed the impact leadership turnover within a school has on school culture. Culture is the beliefs, norms, traditions, and customs of a group of people or organization. Culture includes an atmosphere of mutual respect among all members and a value is placed on teaching and learning. All 3 components analyzed could directly or indirectly impact school culture in a positive or negative manner.

STEM Education has been around since Sputnik in the 1950s, however, members of the learning community, administrators, teachers, students, and parents lack in the full understanding of the benefits and purposes behind these programs. Due to this lack of understanding the purpose behind STEM education as a means to engage students in future careers is misunderstood, as STEM programs don’t mean a better education, but lead to a different purpose for the learners life. When the learning community gets a better understanding and more involvement that the learning and student engagement will bring about the desired and intended results of the program and curriculum. My research works to answer the following questions: •What and how much to students, parents, and educators know about STEM education program and curriculum and what it has to offer?

•How does student efficiency compare in a STEM-based curriculum school to a non-STEM based curriculum school.

My research paper was about how organizational leadership and equitable funding effect academic achievement in schools. Through researching the difference in funding allocations between consistently high-performing and low-performing schools, I established discrepancies in resources and programs throughout K-12 schools. Empirical research shows that there was a direct correlation between funding allocation and leadership styles. Both had a clear direct impact on student and school academic performance.

My research explored the impact that mental health issues have on children and the benefits of SEL programs.

The Critical Race Theory is a spin-off from the Critical Theory. The concept around the CRT is based on justice and equality. For many years, racism is and has existed—the Critical Race Theory attempt to inlight the inequalities in our society using its five tenets. Identifying and understanding that race due exist is the first concept in addressing racism. Those who are born privilege would never come to terms with the reality of discrimination if they continue to deny its existence and proclaiming that they do not see color.

My research paper is on how women in the workplace that have survived trauma become leaders. Specifically, the transformational leadership style. Leadership will be researched to include trauma as growth.

There is a broad body of research on trauma and failure. However, the research that identifies trauma related to strength and perseverance is scarce, with little research exploring how trauma positively influences successful leadership. The decisions and practices of individuals who have experienced trauma are not general to one group; however, trauma can impact organizational leadership. Thus, the association of trauma and leadership increases the mobility of an organization's composition, traditions, and growth. Moreover, trauma implements a self-analysis of leadership style, building production, preservation, and better associations.

The central question asks how trauma experiences have positively influenced women's successful leadership styles who have experienced trauma. After analyzing the literature, the following subsidiary question has been developed:

1). To what extent has trauma influenced the transformational leadership practice of the research participants?

Leader/Member Exchange theory (LMX) involves the use of relational dyads between leaders and members to create high-quality exchanges that build engagement, motivation and commitment to organizational structures. This presentation will explore the use of LMX in conjunction with formative assessment of teachers to answer the question: Can high-quality LMX increase teacher effectiveness, motivation and engagement? To establish the connection between LMX and formative assessment, it is important to look at similar organizational structures like organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and social exchange theory. These constructs help support the effectiveness of LMX in relation to formative assessment and more specifically how high-quality LMX helps leaders proactively and intentionally conduct formative assessment on teachers that helps them improve their craft. Research indicates that high-quality LMX builds self-efficacy, motivation and engagement which improves their performance and effectiveness and when used in conjunction with formative assessment, weaknesses in instruction can be evaluated and modified during the learning process. The research supports that teacher effectiveness can be improved through the use of high-quality LMX.

There is a mounting problem in education in America today. As America becomes more and more of a melting pot, is the landscape of education keeping up with the cultural shift? Within the schoolhouse, are students whose native language is NOT english getting the education they deserve? Or is there a disparity, with ELL students silently falling through the cracks? If this is happening, why and who is doing something about it? ELL students have an achievement gap compared to their classmates and something must be done about it.

Looking at the issue through the lens of critical race theory, focusing on racial tensions in the context of magnet schools at a state, district, and school level.
Magnet placement struggles to prove its foundation in helping disadvantaged students obtain access to more successful educational options. It also deviates from the goal of desegregation, leaded to more homogeneous schools and classrooms.
