1. As senior executives, ultimately our goal is to increase our bottom-line. CSR has the ability to influence and improve the company's bottom-line. However the question then really is about whether the benefits gained from CAFE practices outweighs the increase in cost incurred when practicing the CAFE framework.

With CAFE practices, there are more auditing processes and on-site supervision, there will be higher costs and if the company does not want to absorb the cost, it will have to be passed on to the consumers (unintended consequences). 

There will also more strain on sourcing system, because there is now more stringent filtering (2 - 3 years).
