I noticed that during the beginning of the debate, both Clinton and Trump said they had similar opinions on issues but just came from different positions on how to address the issues.  
2. I also noticed that during the same time, as they are saying they have the same opinions but different positions, they never discussed the specifics of these things.

* Hillary remained composed during this time while slowly it seemed Trump lost any poise he may have theoretically had. Afterwards the news reporters were talking about the debate and a fair amount agreed he strayed from the topic or didn't even make sense while he was talking. Lester had to correct him and tell him the topic of discussion again
* Noted again, that Trump was talking over Hillary a fair amount of the times, which Hillary did a few times but Trump continued for a longer time than she did.

It set the tone for the rest of the debate."
