Thus, in Jennifer's case, the execution of power can be challenging and have obstacles, while in John's case, since there are less interactions between the network members and more direct contact, the power execution can be more straightforward and powerful. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In my opinion, John seems to have more direct connections and relationships among the two. Hi direct linkages with everyone may give him the leverage to advance his agenda and earn the goodwill of his stakeholders, thus all his interventions seem to come full circle.&nbsp;<br>Jennifer on the other hand seems to have limited relationships/connections which is why it seems her interventions/initiatives are not coming full circle and there are gaps that need to be filled. </div>]]></description>

If you have blurred or indirect connections which are not reliable, they can backfire.&nbsp;<br>Also, establishing a connection is easier than converting it into meaningful engagement or relationing. It's a more cohesive network, and she is the hub of the wheel, with the interconnectivity flowing through her.&nbsp;Despite the suggested answer saying that John's network gives more power, I am inclined to disagree. It really comes down to whether we're looking at the power of the network, or the power of the network curator. I think the collective strength approach is more on-brand these days (for example, see the book "New Power").</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>John seems to have absolute power over a few people, and moderate power over a group. All in all he has a smaller network than Jennifer. But he is key for his small nework. As he manages the input for his direct contacts who have no other contacts and also the input for the group which gives him sort of power over this group. Without him, they cannot "move". <br>Jennifer seems to be involved in a much bigger network. When she uses her power-skills right, she can influence others who themselves influence over their connections which are not directly linked to her (kind of ripple effect). Therfore she has more power as when using wise tactics she can influence more, but they can still exist and continue without her. So it depends on her strategy and her kind of power (if her power is making networks work independently, then she is the winner here)</div>]]></description>
