Symbols and meanings:
-The Ankh is the most well known symbol, it is said to represent internal life.
- The "was" symbol was in connection with the Ankh symbol. The "was" staff was often displayed in the hands of Gods, such as Anubis and Set, two Gods that had a big influence on Egyptian makeup. It stood for power and rulership.
- The eye of Horus, is the second most well known symbol. It says many Gods wore this, however it is undecided what this symbol actually stands for but they believe it has the same meaning as the "was" staff.
-The Dejd column is supposed to stand for a mix of the Ankh and the "was" symbols, with an overall meaning of strength, success and long life.
- The Scarab means transformation and protection.
- The Feather of Ma'at stands for truth, justice, morality and balance.
- The Lotus Flower represents rebirth and regeneration

makeup: Their makeup was made by grinding ores such as green malachite, galena – grey lead ore, cerussite, which made a black paste called kohl and then applied around the eyes. They’d apply this to the upper and lower eyelids and extended from the corner of the eye to the sides of the face, the eyebrows were also pained on black. most would apply themselves but those who can afford it would have a personal professional cosmetician, the ‘face painter’.

hair: both genders shaved their heads, like most priests, while others let their hair grow, cropped short or worn shoulder length hair or even longer. The hair easily gets infested by head lice which will cause itching and putting oil in the hair or even shaving the head got rid of them or decreased the amount of them. most of the men would shave their heads while young women would wear their hair long enough to braid it. Wigs were worn by wealthy men and women, which were hade from real human hair and Hair pieces were also worn to hide deficiencies and was also worn by the dead when making a good impression.

Eye of horus: the eye of horus is a popular eye symbol that Egyptians would create on their right eye. This symbol shows protection, royal and good health to those who wore it. The eye of horus was found on many mummies such as shoshenq, the ruler of the 22nd dynasty of Egypt, and many sailors would paint this symbol on the bow of their vessel to give them protection from their sea travel. Horus was the ancient Egyptian of the sky and usually known as the falcon as the symbol represents the markings of a falcons eye

She was not Egyptian, she migrated from Greece. She was the first ruler in 300 years to learn to speak and write Egyptian and the first in 300 years to embrace the gods. She was forced to marry her 10-year-old brother when she was 18. She then fought her brother to the death after a political dispute. At first Julius Caesar fought against her until they met and immediately became allies and lovers. He then fought for her until she got her thrown back. When she met marc Antony they fell in love. During a battle when she knew all was lost, she killed herself with snake poison. As soon as Marc Antony heard, he also killed himself. Her tomb has still never been found.
