The crucial value in seeking knowledge is adab, or proper etiquette. Let us recall the reasons for the downfall of the Ottoman Empire. What led to their decline from a position of victory and advancement? Unfortunately, one of the causes was that the Muslims of that empire lacked tolerance among themselves, which made it easier for enemies to conquer them. This is clear evidence that when knowledge is separated from proper etiquette, the value of community diminishes, and the bonds within the community weaken.

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞

Knowledge is a wonderful gift from Allah SWT. Therefore, what must we do to appreciate this blessing?

We seek knowledge to earn the pleasure of Allah. Our knowledge is a blessing from our Lord, so we should share it with others as a sign of gratitude to Him.

Secondly, we should actively assist others in their learning journey by providing support and guidance to those who need it. By offering our help, we contribute to their educational growth and foster a collaborative learning environment that benefits everyone involved.

𝐀𝐥-𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞

The Quran serves as a comprehensive guide for all Muslims, addressing every aspect of life, including mental health conditions. The book provides wisdom and solutions for the challenges we face, offering comfort and guidance for maintaining mental well-being and navigating through life's difficulties.

Surah Al-Ghafir ayat 44 above serves as a constant reminder for us to hold firmly to Allah's guidance and remain steadfast in our faith.

1. Belief in Prophets
The fourth commandment of Iman in Islam is belief in the Prophets (Rusul). This includes faith in all the prophets sent by Allah to guide humanity, from Adam to Muhammad. Believers accept that these prophets delivered Allah's messages and served as examples of righteous living, ultimately leading to the ultimate message brought by Muhammad, the last prophet. This belief emphasizes the importance of following their teachings and recognizing their roles in conveying divine guidance.
2. Belief in the Day of Judgement
The fifth commandment of Iman in Islam is belief in the Day of Judgment (Yawm al-Qiyamah). This belief entails acknowledging that all individuals will be resurrected and held accountable for their actions in this life. It emphasizes the concepts of justice, reward, and punishment, where the righteous will be rewarded with Paradise, and those who have done wrong will face consequences. This belief encourages ethical behavior and moral responsibility, shaping how Muslims live their lives in preparation for the hereafter.
3. Belief in Qada' and Qadar
The sixth commandment of Iman in Islam is belief in divine predestination (Qadar). This belief involves accepting that Allah has knowledge of everything that will happen and has decreed all events in the universe, both good and bad. While humans have free will to choose their actions, ultimately, everything occurs according to Allah's plan. This concept encourages trust in Allah's wisdom and fosters resilience, reminding believers that challenges are part of His divine design.

IHSAN

The term ihsan in Islamic thought refers to the concept of doing good or exhibiting excellence in one’s actions, reflecting a deep sense of moral and spiritual integrity. It comes from the Arabic root حسن (hasana) , which means "to be good" or "to do good." The word muhsin is derived from ihsan and serves as a noun form (ism fail) meaning "one who does good".

In the context of Prophet Nuh (Noah), he is often highlighted as a paragon of perseverance in giving da'wah (invitation to Islam). Despite facing significant opposition and ridicule from his people over many years—traditionally said to be around 950 years—he remained steadfast in his mission to guide them toward righteousness . This unwavering commitment is a powerful example of ihsan, as he continued to act with compassion and dedication , even in the face of adversity.

Nuh's story emphasizes the importance of patience, resilience, and the duty of Muslims to continue spreading the message of Islam , embodying the principles of ihsan through both actions and intentions. His example serves as an inspiration for believers to maintain their efforts in promoting goodness and faith, regardless of challenges .
