A singer states from Ch. 17, because animals are sentient beings they should be given equal considerations as humans do. In the case of this USA Today article, I am appalled that a man would let 70 cows die inhumanely by simply letting them pass out and die and not care for him on his property. Whoever this man is, he clearly did not care for the animals as he is facing animal abuse charges. In this country there is animal cruelty every day and simply being aware of that can help make a change in this world. Animals are truly sentient beings and one of my favorite animals the dog shows that in every way.
