Because the social construction is that women have to be thin to be attractive, if he feels the person is overweight, he immediately buzzes. She describes the fear she felt being alone, especially with a stranger following you. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 4 years old, but it took until my girlfriend was 19 for her to receive a diagnosis, even though we had similar symptoms. The main difference between genders in the diagnostic process is that males are more likely to be disruptive, leading to further testing. Females may experience the same exact other issues, but the disruptiveness leads to many more diagnoses than without.
