In a job interview, the employees were a 17 year old boy and a 60 year old woman.The 17 year old boy has all the qualities and skills for the job whereas the 60 year old woman is inexpeirence at the job setting.

Example - direct discrimination

When applying for a job and the employee is qualified and skilled for the job and the employer said "they could have given the job to her but the only problem was she was pregnant".They could discriminate the woman because they're judging her by just looking at her apppearance not the things that she can offer for the company.

If a group of people saw a person who is trangender and starts treating her badly and starts to used verbal abused by calling her names such as, using the word "discusting". To avoid discriminating someone, the people in the group could keep their thoughts to themselves or be educated about tansgender to avoid hurting someone feelings.

Example-Direct discrimination

If an asian woman, who has all the qualification, skills and qualities thats needed for the work. Perhaps applying for a manger job and another person applied for it. Who could be full british and has less experience and qualification than the asian woman and gets given the job. This is direct discrimination because the employer who is also british has pick the full british person rather than the asian woman. who has better qualities.

Example of discrimination

If a student has a diffrent religion and have to wear hijabs at all time as part of that persons religion and a certain teacher wouldn't let her wear it in the class. This is irect discrimination. Every person, who has a diffrent religion and have to wear a certain thing, for them to show that they are respecting their religion and also to show respectingr their GOD. They should be allowed to wear that something at any place.

To avoid discrimination for both males and females.They should get the chances, due to the role play that daniel,zoe and megan did, were Daniel did not get the job as he was a male and megan who is a female got the job, which the same as the employer and it wasn't fair. Daniel is also more qualified and skilled than megan and daniel still did not get job. As he didn't get the job this has made daniel to feel upset and angry and may knocked his self esteem and confidence and also can make feel like he wouldn't get a job anymore. This is Direct discrimination.

To avoid discrimanting someone, who is dissable which could be someone in a wheelchair and that person might want to go exercise in the gym.To avoid discrimating the person, the gym must provide lifts for them to use into three different floors. also if they they don't have a lift that people in a wheelchair to use, the gym should provide the same equipment that can be used on higher floors.

For civil partnership to avoid discriminating, someone who wants to get married to the same sex is for the goverment to legalised but now they have changed the law and they are now allowed to get married, if the church has agreed, to marry the same sex so the church can still disagree with the marriage.
