Let me share a short story about my friendship.

She is my friend,her name is Nurul Habibatur and I call her as Iyung usually.She is an unique person,cute and good listener.She always give me spirit when I feel sad.We met when we were newbie in a collage,which funniest action from her was crying when the cosmetic was lost also home sick untill she was screaming out.

We have many similarities are : we like hanging out,watching movies,listening music and reading novels.

Two habits that make us different are : I like sleeping and she likes shopping.

She often gets mad at me when I make mistakes—especially when I let my emotions control me or when I act selfishly. But deep down, I know she does it because she genuinely cares. It feels like having an older sister who always reminds me to be better, not just for myself, but also for the people around me. She understands me more than I understand myself sometimes. We may argue, we may not always agree, but I know she’ll always have my back. Her presence in my life is something I’m truly grateful for.

This is my best friend, a close friend even.

Her name's Donna, around the same age as I am, and we were introduced to one another as early as 10th grade on Senior High. We first met on a vocation that revolves around animation, but we didn't knew each other very much until 12th grade. From there, we talked with one another smoothly. She's a very hilarious person and pretty introverted. Though it depends on the environment since she's pretty easygoing with her own friends. We're similar in many ways, our MBTIs are the same: INFJ (probably the most rarest type out there with 1.6% on women and 1.2% on men), we basically have the same behaviour, same personalities although I'm much more resolved and somehow our past lives are almost the same as well, in both family and life experiences.

However, we have several differences but they all fit into our dynamic in some way. Sometimes she's the type that's always so cheerful of herself, probably the most ecstatic. She smiles alot and is quite a joyful person. Me? Not so much. Oftentimes, even though I have the charisma on people and is fairly easy to talk and go around, my introverted side is often seen hiding in plain sight. I'm assertive, silent, and will react if the environment wants me to. I adapt quite well with other people's emotions, I always think and reminisce, there's not in a single moment where I stop thinking. I continue to do so, every single damn time on every single chance I got. And... Yes, we both can read other people's minds and auras so easily.

She liked matcha, mintchoco, anything sweet and I'm the bitter type. I always liked coffee (especially americano) and tea with some lemon extract put into it for a bit of zest in its flavor. She's into Economics and Accountancy, while I'm more into Education, Linguistics, Philosophy, and Art. But we both have common grounds on Literature, either fiction or non fiction, and Psychology.

Yet, in all of these differences, there's a dynamic that keeps on persisting within our friendship. We're always supportive of one another, helping each other out when we needed it. No matter the difficulty. Sometimes I mentored her in improving her English, both academically and in speaking skills. We crack jokes of our own every once in a while and at times, in our conversations, we go freaky and crazy when we need to.

She's in UM currently, while I stayed in UINMA to chase our bachelor's degrees. Our hopes? Doctoral degrees and a 3.9/4 on our IPK.

I’d like to share a short story about my best friend.

I have many close friends, but there has always been one best friend—her name is beautiful, whose full name is Nafisah Arum.

She is humble and a good listener, and she always supports me. We have been friends for five years, and we first met in the 10th grade of Islamic Senior High School when we were living in the boarding.

We share something in common: both of us took a gap year after finishing school because we finished memorizing of the Qur'an and left the dormitory together.

But we also have our differences—she is now studying at Surabaya Open University while working, while I am studying at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and living in the dormitory again.

I hope our friendship will always remain warm even though distance separates us now. And I will always support you.

My best friend is my junior high school classmate, and he likes to give me advice and encourages me to make a change. for now, we have been best friends for 4 years. We met when we sat next to each other and talked. Surprisingly, he shared the same interests, like memes and games. What differentiates me and him is that he is very focused on his goals, and sometimes i am not focused on mine.

I'm grateful to have been friends with him, even though we were only together for a year in junior high. After that, we went our separate ways.

Weve been bestfriend for 4 years i think ? We meet at senior high school and were at the same class. I remember when me and her are not that close like now, she"s a hard to touch. She"s barely sharing jokes, she"s act cool all the time. I cant get closer to her at that moment. I think like that, but im wrong. As time goes by, I realize that closeness only grows with time.

We have too many similarities, but i will only write 3 things in here. First, we have same music taste which is kpop & western. Even were not at the same fandom were still hyped each other biases. Second, we love spicy food !!! And for the last we love romance cdrama.

The difference between me and her is she likes maths and i hate maths, she love horror movies and i hate horror movies.And that is, happy reading.

My best friend’s name is Rifqy, but I call him Ian, a short name I always use whenever we meet. We’re the same age. We’ve known each other for almost a decade, to be exact, more than 7 years. We’ve gone through so many fun moments back in high school, and as for the not-so-fun ones… I’ll keep that story to myself hehe.

He’s always there when I need him, and vice versa. We don’t look alike, but our minds are on the same frequency. Both of us are humorous, not easily offended by accidental words that might hurt feelings. We also share the same taste in women whether it’s about beauty, character, or personality. I have a circle of five friends. There’s me, Mirataz zamani, who studies at UIN Campus 3; Arina Manasikana, who studies at UIN Tulungagung; Balghis Ukhsin Nawa, who goes to Universitas Negeri Malang; and Farah Nur Layli Ramadhani, who is now teaching at a TPQ.

They’re all a little crazy, but I’m even crazier for wanting to be friends with them. Still, they’re the ones who understand me more than I understand myself. We first became friends back in the pesantren. We’ve been through so much together. Even though we’ve fought dozens of times, we always find thousands of ways to forgive each other and get back together.

The five of us have completely different music tastes, but we never mind. We always respect each other’s choices. 

They’re all a little crazy, but I’m even crazier for wanting to be friends with them. Still, they’re the ones who understand me more than I understand myself. We first became friends back in the pesantren, and we’ve been through so much together. Even though we’ve fought dozens of times, we always find countless ways to forgive each other and come back stronger.

We used to spend 24 hours a day together, but now even finding time to meet means waiting for everyone’s schedules to match. I miss everything we used to do — laughing until we lost track of time, getting scolded by the supervisors for skipping together, and all the other fun memories. My best friend is someone who is friendly, modest, and very sociable. I have been friends with her for the past three years. I first meet her during organization gathering.

We usually spend time together by drinking matcha, and sharing our stories. She is a cheerful person who always makes the people around her feel comfortable.

We once lived together, shared happiness, exchanged stories, and met every day as time kept turning for three long years—until the path of education separated us. Who can truly accept such a bitter reality? Of course, everyone must, but deep down we know and believe that even though time and distance may stand in our way, our hearts will always remain connected. Everyone understands that feeling.

Seventeen is not about whether the number is big or small. Back in that place, they were not just individuals, but part of one shared story. They were not family by blood, yet the closeness we built was far beyond friendship. Every day, they woke up together, studied together, ate together, and helped each other face every challenge. They shared joys and sorrows, went through trials that sometimes felt heavy, yet they always had each other to share the burden. “We are seventeen souls under the same sky, bound by love, laughter, and fleeting moments.”

On certain nights, we would sit on the floor of our room, playing card games or simply sharing stories. One would begin by talking about their childhood, and another would continue with their own. We told stories about our daily lives, about random things that happened throughout the day. That was how we came to know each other more deeply—through the little stories only we understood.

We celebrated birthdays in simple ways, yet full of meaning. Anyone whose birthday came would receive a small gift, opened together in front of everyone, followed by words of gratitude. Sometimes it was just a handwritten letter, a bar of chocolate, or simply a hug that felt tighter than usual.

Faith,that one word always crossed my mind as the day of parting drew nearer. I wanted to fight it, to turn back time, to always be beside them forever, to deny the fate that would soon separate us. But I knew it was impossible. Still, the word faith reminded me that this was not the end, but the beginning of a real journey. It is true that we would be separated by farewell, but the universe always has its way of bringing us back together.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you. Zaki Ahmad Yamani is his full name. People calls him Zaki. But, I, as his number one soul mate, like to call this bro “Ajax”. Nothing’s special reason why I call him with, it’s just because I like a character namely Ajax, from a Netflix show called “Wednesday”. He and I met each other in Biro Pengembangan Bahasa Asing (BPBA) of English Program.

BTW, actually, we were’nt just both. Once, I was on a solid teenage-English-grammar-student-circle with a very unique name, BIAZZAHH. There were eight of us, and what made it special was that each letter of the name carried our identities. (B for Bobi, I for Inong, A means Acuf, Z means Zahil, second Z means my best friend, Zaki, next A for me, Aiyus, H means Hanif and last H for Holis). I wasn’t just a name. It was a piece of our friendship which brings so much memories

Among all of them, I communicate more to my Ajax. It’s not because we have so many similarities of course, we’re not same at all, BTW. But, both of us can be a good listener when one of us was sharing, although as always, we mocked each other after telling our problem. Putting so much soul on graphic design may be the only similarity we have. I learned so much about it to him. Give him a blank canvas and my boy will turn it into magic. Give him deadlines and he will still turn it into masterpiece. Basically, if design were a superpower, he is already a superhero.

Talking to him will never be boring for me. Last time, we put so much hope to ourselves that we both have to meet again in the best version of us. Can’t wait for it.

her name is Erin (right side). we've been together since we were kids, back when we know nothing about this world. she's generous, kind, funny and such a sweetie. we've been together since kindergarten, i think it's about 14 years ago when she saw me tried to erase the whiteboard, but i couldn't reach it, and she came over to help me. we went trough the kindergarten happily, we graduated together from kindergarten and went to the same elementary school. Elementary was fun when it was with her, even though there are some little dissagrements between us, but we see it just as a friendship things i guess? because we always know each other better afterward, the communication after those spats help us to understand each others prespective. and of course we have similarities, we both like spicy foods, we like to drink coffee, we also have the same taste in music. besides of that, we have some differerence as well, she likes to study science, while i myself more into social science. she's kinda afraid with cats, while i'm a BIG FAN of cats.

sadly, we had to separate in junior highschool. she went to public junior highschool, while i went to boarding school. since then, we just met twice a year during holiday, and yeah we still stayed in touch through handphone.

i miss her so bad :(

We were always together at the boarding school. We often hung out at the school’s cooperative, and we cooked together in the kitchen. I really miss those times. Now, we are already in our own universities, each of us struggling on our own paths.

I still remember the day we met like it happened yesterday. It was the first week of school, and I had already managed to forget my pencil in the middle of math class. Typical.

I was nervously flipping through my empty pencil case when I heard a voice from the next desk.

"Need one?"

I looked up and saw someone holding out a perfectly sharpened pencil with a small smile. That was him. The person who would become my best friend.

"Thanks," I said, a little embarrassed.

"No worries. I always bring extra," he replied, like it was no big deal.

But it was After that, we kept talking about how boring math was, how weird the lunch smelled that day, and how we both secretly liked the same cringy TV show.

From that tiny moment a borrowed pencil grew something much bigger. Study sessions, inside jokes, shared secrets, and a friendship I wouldn’t trade for anything

i love them so much cz they’re always be my side when i feel hurt or feel happy, always understanding me, always support me, always make me laugh, and always make me feel a comfortable just like a home.

Well, her name Fira Agustin. She is someone who is friendly, smart, understand me, and also beautiful. She's the only one who never leave me even in my bad condition. We've been friend for about 6 years, I met her because we are in the same boarding school. And one class also, but unfortunately we are not in the same university now.

One of my friend said we have a similar face, and we both like English language. we have habits,sometimes we gossip using English so that other people don't understand 🤭

yeah,, i know that is not easy because making a circle friendship like this takes a lot of time, although we are often diffrent opini and finally we debate, honestlly we are can't to be far hihihi:)

Aku ingat betul betapa dia suka sekali dengan buah-buahan, Selain itu, dia juga punya hobi main Mobile Legends, dan seringkali kami tertawa bersama ketika dia terlalu serius menghadapi permainan itu,bahkan kami sering Mabar di rumah dia ataupun akuu karena kita sudah sama sama dikenal sama orang tua masing masing.

Kebersamaan kita di pondok pesantren adalah kenangan yang nggak akan pernah hilang dari ingatanku. Setiap hari kami ngaji bareng, saling menyemangati kalau ada hafalan yang sulitt banget kami rasa, lalu pulang bareng sambil ngobrol ngalor-ngidul. Makan bareng pun jadi momen sederhana yang terasa istimewa, karena di situlah kita bisa saling bercanda, berbagi cerita, bahkan curhat kecil tentang kehidupan di pondok. Ada banyak keseruan yang kita lewati bersama, mulai dari tugas tugas di pesantren, kegiatan harian, sampai momen kecil yang sebenarnya sederhana, tapi terasa sangat berharga.

namun, sekarang keadaan membuat kami harus berpisah jalan. Dia memilih untuk menetap di pondok, mengabdikan dirinya menjadi seorang ustadz, sementara aku diminta orang tuaku untuk melanjutkan kuliah. Perbedaan jalan ini membawa kami pada jarak yang jauh, bahkan sampai berada di pulau yang berbeda. Walau begitu, jarak ternyata tidak bisa memutuskan ikatan persahabatan kami. Kami masih tetap saling kontak, saling mengabari kabar terbaru, bahkan tetap bisa saling menyemangati meskipun lewat pesan singkat.

Bagiku, dia bukan sekadar sahabat biasa. Dia sudah aku anggap seperti saudara sendiri yang tumbuh bersama, yang tahu bagaimana jatuh bangunnya hidupku sejak kecil. Kebersamaan kami di masa lalu akan selalu jadi pengingat betapa berharganya sebuah persahabatan sejati, yang tidak akan pernah hilang meski jarak dan waktu mencoba memisahkan.

We have been friends since our time at Mi Plus Walisongo Trenggalek. At Junior High School Wirya, Kiki and I attended at the same school, that School is MTsN 1 Trenggalek. Meanwhile, Firli and Elka went to an Islamic Boarding School. We got the chance to meet up again when we were in 12th grade, during our senior year holiday, we spent time together, either simply gathering or taking trips at mountain or outside the city.

For now we can't be together anymore because we are studying in different places, Kiki and Wirya at State University of Surabaya, Firli at Muhammadiyah University of Malang, Elka at Malang Polytechnic of Health and Sciences, and me at State Islamic University of Malang.

i'm fira and i don’t have that many friends, but this one’s definitely the closest. we first met on july 13, 2022, as dorm roommates back in high school. at first, i thought she was quiet, shy, and kinda boring. but the more time we spent together, i found out she’s actually fun, talkative, a bit clumsy, sometimes sensitive—but always the supportive one. we’ve shared so many things and random talk each others.

He and I have been friends since the 5th grade (if i'm not mistaken). The day we met is nothing special. One day he's suddenly moved into our neighborhood and after meeting and knowing each other, we became best friends ever since.

He is a reliable person, we've got each others back everytime someone's got a problem. If we need something, we can count on each other. If one of us want to do something, we sometimes call each other to ask whether or not we want to join or not.

We'd also like to spend our time together by playing some games, traveling, tell stories, eat together, and doing some random and silly stuff together.

I think the reason that we got so well together is because he and I have some similarities. We have the same hobbies, favorite things, interests, and things in common. For example, like playing badminton, watching anime, same type of humor, favorite food (mie ayam is the best btw), and other similarities that makes us close to each other.

But we don't just have similarities, we also got differences that distinguishes us from each other. First of all, he's 2 years younger than me (but despite that difference he's still taller than me). We also have our own preferences in games, while he's more of a grinder person, while I'm more of a laid back person (this also applies tho the habit in our daily lives). We have many other differences that sets us apart from each other, small and big. But despite those differences, that doesn't prevent us from becoming best friends. Instead, it makes us closer by accepting and overcoming our differences. And i think that's why we became best friend for a long time and hopefully for a lifetime.
