The book "The Joy Luck Club" by Amy Tan explore the experience of Chinese-American women and their mothers.  This would enhance thee readding skills of the student swhile fostering empathy and compassion for different cultures(Connolly, 2024).</p>]]></description>

This would be lessons for Black History Month, Juneteenth, St Patrick's Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, Madi Gras, Coachella Festivals and Cinco de Mayo.  This provides enrichment to the curriculum as well as validate the specific cultures of the students(Johnson, 2024)</p>]]></description>
