Mesopotamia made two of the most useful items in the world today, they made writing and wheels. they have made many more useful things that we still use today like pottery and the pottery wheel. the pottery helped them with storing water and crops and it also helped them with controlling flood water. They also created mathematics, time, cities, and they mass produced bricks.

The bricks helped with building there houses, cities, etc. the math also came in to help with building and doing calculations on how high something was. the cities are also one of the biggest inventions they made to because there are millions of people living in cities. the pottery now evolved into plates, bowls, tupperware, etc.

Mesopotamia was ruled by monarchs which only ruled independent city-states which eventually turned into first empires. Monarchs had all the power and applied rules that they find beneficial to their people. Hammurabi was a king of babylon and he set laws he thought would make people equal but instead it reveals how it treated slaves, commoners, nobles differently because of their social status and jobs they had causing inequality and conflict between one another.
