3. What I hope to take away from this class is a better understanding of how to safeguard information and also to have a more accurate picture of what IT Security is and make sure it is a fit for me personally.
4. My future goals include graduating with my AS in IT Security and then start applying for jobs within that world. My degree path currently is leaning toward a degree specifically in Health Care.
5. I am not really sure as to what position I am seeking, I hope to find this out as I progress through my studies. The IT Security field intrigues me as do other IT fields because they are ever changing and evolving so they I wouldn't think they would get stagnant as some other jobs have for me in the past. Even if you have attained the highest level of degree in these fields there is a constant need to learn.
6. I'm not much of a hobby person, I do like to fish from time to time(Salt water), I enjoy shooting sports and I have recently discovered that I like to kayak so that's a current hobby I guess!? 3. IT Security protocols and learn something I didn't know before. You learn something new everyday in IT.
4. Future goal is eventually to either be the head of my own IT company or a director of IT for a large company.
5. Not exactly sure yet. Definitely want to be a Server Admin or a Domain Admin at a corporation.
6. Aerospace. I love learning about planes and their humble beginning in North Carolina. Over the last several years, I have had several interns from Santa Fe College getting class credit by working for my department. Having had student interns from both UF and Santa Fe I was much more impressed with the Santa Fe students. Therefore, I decided to go back to school and get a degree in cyber security.

3. Having already been in the industry for almost 15 years I can tell you Security is one of the most important aspects of what we do. One cannot ever have enough information regarding security and I am hoping this class can help me better understand some of the risks and trends outside of higher education that I may come across.

4. Someday I would like to be an IT Director of my division at UF.

5. My current UF job title is End User Computing Spec III and my working title is Help Desk Administrator. Over the next year, I would like to move my UF job title from a level three to a level four.

6. When I am not taking care of my children, my hobbies are hunting and fishing. I am most passionate about hunting whitetail deer.

My uncle. He spoke about how awesome the school and the I.T. degree has been for him. After past failures in other schools I decided to give it a try. So far, I'm enjoying it.

I attended Santa Fe College for my first degree and decided to come back here because its close to home, and I have had good experiences up till now with the faculty and student body.

I am from Pennsylvania and lived there for the majority of my younger life. Now resisting the urge to become a gator.

Im hoping to have a more firm grasp on the fundamentals of IT security, and just a better grasp on the potential benefits and problems that may arise from the use and advancement of technology moving forward.

4. What is your future goal?
My goal is to finish putting in my 20 years with the VA so my wife and I can then retire and spend time traveling. A job in IT would be beneficial for having a more migrant lifestyle, and potentially give me more freedom.

Originally I was born in PA outside of Philly and I moved to Gainesville around the age of 12, since then I've moved around a bit and now live in High Springs

I hope to become more familiar with the IT world, I have multiple friends online working towards the same goal of getting into IT and making a career out of it

My goal for now is the get my degrees and certifications to better my chances of finding a job in the field, while also having the lifestyles to use in my old ages
