Monique Gonzalez

Your goal: Our goal is to teach educators how to integrate technology into their everyday lessons. More importantly how to integrate technology effectively for their grade level.

Your target audience: Our target audience is K-2 teachers, but in all reality can be applied to many different grade level educators.

Your prior knowledge on the topic of this project: Throughout our many classes in this program, we have learned about different tools that we can implement into our classrooms. I believe it is just as important to know not only how to integrate, but how to do it effectively where it not only benefits the teacher with teaching but for their students.

Name of the project and any organization supporting or sponsoring it: As our idea is still fresh, Betsy and I are brainstorming a name for our project, but hope that it will help many educators who are still in need. There are many organizations that support technology integration in schools. We will do more research and see all the possibilities.

Key players or possible contacts/contributors to the project: Again, this idea was newly thought of by Betsy and I, but we briefly brainstormed some possible contacts for our project, including technology representatives from our school districts, administration, our grade level staff, and tech coordinators from our schools.

Conditions under which the project will be carried out, such as resources and constraints: Many of the constraints being that much of communication with outside resources will have to be communicated via Zoom and email. I enjoy talking more in person and building relationships, but with COVID, it makes it quite impossible. Some other constraints to consider is that not all educators have access to different programs or trainings based of district budgets and needs.
