1. Fear of punishment: having phone taken away, would not risk it

2. Motivation: communication with friends, want to do it

3. Need to be liked/approved: wanting to stay up like friends, consider it

4. Higher authority: it is not illegal, would do it

5. Consensus of society: most teens do it as well, I am a teen so yes

6.  Demands of justice: my brothers have to sleep early so it is not fair,
would not even care

The Bible and Catechism's information is used as a reference on how people form conscience and make moral decisions. It contains religious messages and rules that must be followed, to then teach the behaviours and decisions that should be made. It is based on God and Jesus' actions.

Catechism- there should be a respect for the human life, diliberate action to kill a innocent is contrary to the dignity of a human being.
Bible-  Clearly, there is a teach by Jesus saying 'Thou shall not murder'

2. Terrorism : Not permitted.

Catechism- it threatens, wounds and kills indiscriminately and it is against justice and charity.
Bible- It states 'In fact, Christians are not to terrorise others, but to be law abiding, submitting to governments and doing good'

3. Homosexuality : Not permitted.

Catechism-  the Sacred Scripture describes it as a act of grave evil since men and women are created to be together.
Bible- 'If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them'. This states that men should not be with men and women should not be with women because it is a sin and death would be the penalty and they would hold guilt.

4. Suicide : Not allowed.

Catechism- you are responsible for your life that God has given you, suicide contradicts the perservation of a human being, it is not also right to co-operate in this too.
Bible- It is stated in the sixth commandment that you shall not murder and it can be said that suicide is an act of the murdering of yourself.

5. Lying: Not permitted

Catechism- lying is speaking in falsehood with an intention to decieve.
Bible- It states that 'Do not give false witness against your neighbour.' and 'Do not go about saying untrue things among your people...'.

6. Abortion: Not permitted.

Catechism- the catechism describes human life must be respected and protected from the moment of contraception, it states 'You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish'.
Bible- Bible does not directly mention about abortion, however speaks about an fetus. It discusses that it is wrong to kill a person and fetus itsefl is considered a person so therefore abortion would be the same as murder which is not allowed.
